I had to press "forward" to get out of the shop but when I got to the battle map the weapon shop mucked up my laser so I kept having to use the turbo drive to defeat enemies but then I couldn't defeat the buildings so in the end I got fed up >:(

Not a bad game I guess, wider variety of landscapes and more accurate starting weapons would be nice. Also, perhaps include different chassis? 3/5.

Maybe he has made changes but I don't see any of the complaints people have said, I can move in water just fine, in fact I stay in it for cooling, it's not dark at all, it flows nice, seems done and is fun to play.
Ran into no issues at all and played it all the way through 5/5

Personally I didn't have any issues with the game glitching. I get the feeling people who postedthings like this, "OMG suckzor graphics", are just kids who wouldn't know a classic arcade game from an XBOX 360 if it weren't for the dated graphics.
Good relaxing game, loved the feel, but if you want to sit for an hour and play this game, probably not for you.

Ok... so better instructions would definitely be good to provide. In order to get out of the upgrade shop you have to add your weapons. It doesn't automatically equip them. Click on the "add weapon" button both arms and shoulders, select an option and a "begin" button will show up. Instructions are lacking, the game is rather is dark, but the nostalgia is a half-decent reason to keep playing this. It brings back some old memories.

It's a fun game to play, but why is LRM 5 listed with 300 dps, same as LRM 2, but with higher cost and much higher heat/second? Is this a bug?

Am I missing something here? My legs jump off and run without my body when I wade through water. Don't see anything in the instructions about that...

Good game! Only real complaints are that 1) weapons are too loud. 2) you don't overheat quickly enough 3) I should be able to squash ppl and 4) bigger maps. I'd like to see some badges for this a) Engineer - bougt my first upgrade b) Hot rodder - maxium engine c) Cool Under fire - Max Cooling d) Thick Skinned - Max Armor. Finally badges for defeating the guard and Sard. overall 5/5

It's kind of hard to see the mech and enemies. Don't get me wrong, I LIKE the game, but everything's gray, brown, and dark green and for me at least it kind of blends together.

Couldn't figure out how to get out of the upgrade shop, so I right clicked and hit the "forward option". Seems to be about the only choice.

Wonderful throwback to MechCommander, EarthSiege and other early mech/robot games. Pass if you didn't care for them or never played them - this won't be your bag.

I`m stuck in the weapons shop. having the instructions in game is useless if you can`t read them, say because you`re stuck in the weapons shop.

A fun game, but it's really hard to see where you're going, and what is traversable terrain. and the graphics for the icons are weird and pixely. With a revamp, this could be a good game.

Not as bad as everyone says really, this is how games used to be people would have paid for this in the old days.
Really not that bad just got to watch out for the second mission because the game removes all your equipment.

The graphics are fubared. It's got a retro style mixed with some not-so-retro styles which make it look very weird and stretched.

everytime i go into the water i can't move. 2/5 for that, also for crappy graphics, i don't buy a retro fell as a get out for having no graphics / poor ones.

Reminds me of Mechwarrior 5/5. Vent heat text needs an update. Weapons are a bit unbalanced. Finished mission with 2 med lasers, 2 ppc, 2 lance and all upgrades and still had tons of money left.

I like it, even tho you were going for the retro feel i think it needs better graphics could do with a kid of minimap or radar tyope thing that shoes you where the enemies are 3/5

Fun, but has greater potential. Bit of a retro feel. Read some of the comments and check out startfighter:disputed galaxy. It has some similarities in potential. 4/5.

a really nice game :) I like the Mech-Style,the gameplay and the story. Terrain graphic is okay, but the tyoe could be clearer. The missios should be a little longer, the maps bigger and so you perhaps need a minimap. There could be other features like Wingmen or support by infantry or tanks. A little balancing could also be done. the game its to easy! the weapons have too much power and a low heat. And there is a little bug: if your spend your money after a mission and reload the game, you keep your improvments but get your manoey back ;)
But despite all: i like the game :) 5/5

would like HUD always on, an end mission button when mission's completed instead of getting kicked out, faster player movement, a minimap or map screen switch, a harder difficulty, API (time taken/score where score would reflect time and damage taken and money unspent). Opera reported a series of errors on level ~7-8ish and flash froze on the creating terrain screen.
