i'm hell of a drunk, i am carrying 40 bones, fake gems, flowers, staff, mushrooms and other stuff... i'm badly hurt by disgusting enemies, and i still can jump doorknob high!

It seems impossible to get the necklace. Also, the jump action is really iffy, in some areas you can jump high, other the character seems blocked or something and can only go half as high

I wish you could add an 'Explore mode', one which you can never die, so you could explore the area, without being killed by those pesky skeletons or robed skeletons..

great game,5/5. Although it was difficult at the beginning, i soon figured out how to play, and got the hang of it, although i was completely shaken up. Oh, and when is Part 2 coming up?

There are some somewhat simple things you could to make this better.
1. The player is OP: make there be less monsters but make them much stronger. And make the player weaker. Make the player afraid of fighting enemies. Being able to take on 10 enemies at once with barely a scratch does not instill fear in me.
2. Pacing: look at any of the great survival horrors many of them you don't even see any monsters until 10-15 minutes in. I know this game is shorter so scaling that down to about 3 minutes or so would work.
3.Music: really this is much more important then one might think. Put some ambient in there. There are many sites that have CC licensed music on them.
The game has good graphics and I don't see any bugs in it. All the things bad about the game are just design flaws.I really hope this helps in some way. There are not nearly enough survival horror games out there. I hope to see more from NarwhalGames soon.

Finally found the map! At the memorial by the unholy well, look on top the entrance for the jewery box. Go to the abandoned house and go around the back to find the Skeleton key. Use the key on the box to find the map.

IT REALLY NEEDS A SAVE FEATURE!!! I've accidentally closed it twice now cause the controls are apparently close to the "close tab" hotkey.

how do i activate the portal? its red and it gives me a headache. i have helped all the ghosts and the caretaker. there was one odd bug in that there were two christophers when i talked to him and one of them is still standing there by his grave but he wont talk any more.

DEFINATELY a game that you should not play at midnight! I tried this out last night and it was very creepy. I tried it out today, and it is A LOT better :)

One thing that I wasn't used to was the camera controls, left button should be able to scroll around, but shouldn't just go back to normal after you release it, and what was really weird for me was to not be able to look up or down, some people like do be looking slightly up while you locked it looking down. One way to fix the fire button is to let other people choose the controls before or during the game (Pause Menu would be useful aswell). I also didn't like how you'd just not let people go somewhere, like I couldn't go into the graveyard unless if I had the holy water, next time make a natural barrier that just disapears chaotically and everyone'll not question it :P

Very good game. Using alt as a fire button was ingenious, as it allows easier firing while running. The items are well hidden and i still cant find that darned map.. oh well. One good aspect of the game to me was that she was a psychic, and that is how she has all of those powers. Most games just drop you off like "Oh, i'm a wizard, so i guess that means i can use spells and stuff."

Really enjoyed the game- it looked great, played well, and I loved the mix of horror/humour. Only quibble is with the controls- alt is still awkward to reach... any chance of making one option for holy water/fire Q and E? It would be easy to reach while moving forward or backwards, and would let you choose between your melee or long-range weapon during battle faster than 1/2 or clicking. Still a great game, looking forward to chapter 2!

Hello ^^ I'm really glad to see this much effort put into a game, and I really enjoyed it! It's got a great combination of the chills, as well as humor. And I don't see what people are complaining about control wise, I really liked the controls! And the graphics.. Ooh, I think I'm never going to look at any game again after playing this. I'm really looking forward to the next part, keep 'em coming!

sort of an odd game... graphics are really good for a flash game though, props for that!
and if you're going to have a puzzle to spell a word like "VANQUISH" please don't have one statue with 3 of the letters in it, how the hell am I supposed to figure out which statue needs setting to what?

just for all you out there the pause button is esc, if your health is down you can force her to drink the fountain water by spamming the button.

Weird game, the graphics remind me of Runescape (they suck). The movement and animation is choppy (look at intro of game). 2.5/5

I come to Kongregate because the games are flash-based and thus cross-platform. This game requires a plugin that is only available for Windows and OSX users. Too bad. I was looking forward to it.

I would have enjoyed this more if I hadn't gotten trapped behind the invisible boundary of the statue room while looking for spoons. When building a 3D game that encourages exploration, either include a save-anywhere feature, test clipping boundaries more rigorously, or give the player a way to respawn on the map when stuck.
