I am assuming you don't update your games or read peoples comments. One, there is a glitch in the game. I was able to go over the mountains (Where Christopher's grave lies). I got stuck there momentarily and then finally ended up behind the statues. I gave up after that. Two, I couldn't get into the portal. I went to all the grave sites. After I completed all the task I didn't know what to do. I would have given you game a five star but know i give it no stars. It is very poorly written. I agree with a lot of comments on here. This game needs a save option. Seeming you do not respond to any comments on here, I don't see this being done.

seems like it could be a good game, but i'm experiencing some majorly broken controls. I don't know if it's a problem with the version of unity player i've got or maybe it's the fact that I have a Mac computer, but whatever the case I can't get the commands tied to the control and shift keys to activate.

@HerculesIsadore - I'd like to see you do better. Maybe you can even try pressing Esc to open the pause menu and bump up the graphics level YOURSELF!
@nowdoitsomemore - It's Unity. It doesn't allow that (Ctrl+W = Window CLOSED) to happen, unless you have a stubborn computer.

I don't know why, but those skeletons are the cutest thing ever. I want one as a pet. :p The sounds they make and the flailing of theirs arms when they attack always makes me laugh.

Thanks for the feedback! I made the upgrade menu pause the game, added a little hint for the statue puzzle, and tweaked the difficulty down a little.

games like these have much potential... but lack in game play. i found this game very repetitive and bland. need more to do... more weapons...etc. then my friend... ur looking at a class game. i give this 3/5

sort of an odd game... graphics are really good for a flash game though, props for that!
and if you're going to have a puzzle to spell a word like "VANQUISH" please don't have one statue with 3 of the letters in it, how the hell am I supposed to figure out which statue needs setting to what?

Hello ^^ I'm really glad to see this much effort put into a game, and I really enjoyed it! It's got a great combination of the chills, as well as humor. And I don't see what people are complaining about control wise, I really liked the controls! And the graphics.. Ooh, I think I'm never going to look at any game again after playing this. I'm really looking forward to the next part, keep 'em coming!

I wish I could have played before the difficulty nerf, because this is effortless. The high scores are broken. Jumping also seems broken. Climbing around on top of things will score you a spoon [or more?], but don't fall behind the big statue while exploring, or you'll be stuck. I'm clueless about the third secret. Fived, faved, and eagerly awaiting the sequel.

VERY IMPORTANT: Pressing w and ctrl at the same time CLOSES THE WINDOW. You MUST change the controls because of this! And no, I don't want to use the arrow keys!

hint: you cn run AND aim at the same time by pressing the left and right mouse button simultanously, and spacebar to jump(this should be added in the description)

It plays extremely well, she's about 10% too slow when walking to cover all the back and forth distances that someone has to cover, but it's nice that levelling her up eventually unlocks a run speed buff. I'm sad that I couldn't gain levels from whacking skeletons, because in the end I was hoping to fill out the whole powerup tree, but ran out of things to do before walking through the portal.

Fairly well polished and thought out. Felt a bit too formulaic for me to really get into though. Not a bad start if this was a base to add features to though

After playing it through twice, i got to 12/13 , 2/3 and 9/10.
Once you locate and manage to grab the bracelet look around you. You wil notice a melon sitting on a hill-line. I believe that is where the second secret is (along with a spoon). I also got a bug. One of those red skeletons exploded at me while I was jumping, and afterwards I could jump like... twice the height I originally could. I could climb on top the statues in the portal area with one jump.

Took me a while to figure out that the trip to the grave wasn't a preliminary to the game, it WAS the game. Constant respawning of the skeletons drove me nuts, as it got difficult to do anything at times. I was hoping that solving the praying statues puzzle would shut them down once they were vanquished, but then I realized I needed the bones for the staff. Getting the bracelet at the peak of the house was a pain, and finding stuff was quite tedious. Lots of good stuff overall, though. 8 spoons, one secret, final score of 12/13. Very good game.

Thanks for the feedback! I think the game difficulty got increased a bit too much at the last minute, I'm tweaking the difficulty down a little bit now.
