JackAce - you didn't get a bug, you got a secret, but the exploding skeleton probably exploded when the message should have displayed. :)
Diva, etc. - I can definitely improve the controls, but I don't know what's wrong with them?

Nice. The controls are a bit complicated (I always prefer looking around with the mouse, in other words more shooter-like controls), but besides that it is a really good game. Maybe you can try to get someone to do the voice acting. I think it would add up to the atmosphere. 4/5

how do i activate the portal? its red and it gives me a headache. i have helped all the ghosts and the caretaker. there was one odd bug in that there were two christophers when i talked to him and one of them is still standing there by his grave but he wont talk any more.

I find out that Developer said that Curse of Plum Mountain "is a major revamp of my prototype game “The Premature Death of Christopher Combe”. It’s not a sequel — just a much-improved version. The sequel is coming soonish!", so my advice is to go play play upgraded version, not this one.

This is a great game, I wonder why it got so few gameplays and a relatively low rating. This is a pearl among the games here. Pity there is no second part.

;A ; Oh my god. I got behind the stupid statues near Chris' grave and now I'm stuck. Get me out ... there are invisible borders preventing me from doing ANYTHING. I'm blocked from 6 sides o_o; ... Fix this glitch

I wish you could add an 'Explore mode', one which you can never die, so you could explore the area, without being killed by those pesky skeletons or robed skeletons..

IT REALLY NEEDS A SAVE FEATURE!!! I've accidentally closed it twice now cause the controls are apparently close to the "close tab" hotkey.

I seem to be stuck between the big statues and the medium statues... can't seem to find a path back to where the action is.

I would have enjoyed this more if I hadn't gotten trapped behind the invisible boundary of the statue room while looking for spoons. When building a 3D game that encourages exploration, either include a save-anywhere feature, test clipping boundaries more rigorously, or give the player a way to respawn on the map when stuck.

Thanks guys, I made some more improvements to the game logic and fixed some bugs. **NOTE**: You can use the ALT key (and the MAC key on Macs) as alternatives to the CTRL key, if you like those better!

I had made a comment earlier that downgraded this game. I worked through the glitch i mentioned ( I don't know how i ended up behind the statues where the portal is. Luckily there was a path to get back out.). I was able to get through the portal, after several attempt's. It still could use a save feature. I give it a 5/5. Thank You.

I cant play it at all ever. It's asking to download Unity Web Player its not compatible and it doesn't run for any computer/laptop I have and only runs on really outdated browsers. I've not been able to play this game in years and the last comment I have seen on here is from 2017. So if you just happen to see this, is there any way you can make it to where I can play this on Chrome. I have internet explorer but Unity Web isnt compatible with this anymore.

To all those searching for a map- You'll find a box that seems to be useless, and a skeleton key later. Combine those things, and you'll find a map. <3

Don't try exploring bordering hilltops too much... I ended up doing one last round before going into the portal and ended up permanently trapped behind invisible walls with no way out -_- Still, good game despite minor glitches ;)

i'm hell of a drunk, i am carrying 40 bones, fake gems, flowers, staff, mushrooms and other stuff... i'm badly hurt by disgusting enemies, and i still can jump doorknob high!

Sorry for the second post, but I was reading the comments. To DarkxideX and others, there is a PAUSE button, it is the Escape button :)

DEFINATELY a game that you should not play at midnight! I tried this out last night and it was very creepy. I tried it out today, and it is A LOT better :)

just for all you out there the pause button is esc, if your health is down you can force her to drink the fountain water by spamming the button.

When you first enter the statue area, turn right past the first statue and find a huge stone block that you can walk through. There's a letter on the ground that you can read (it disappears when you read it). Forgot what it said, but it involved Chris and 'devouring him'.

As you can see, I like yelling at people. Anyway... I can't find that key for the jewelry box. I'm not entering the portal without it... I'm suspecting that the guy's map is in it. I have no other requests than his, and... Hmph. I was too stupid to get sixth sense 2, so now it's a sit, stare for a minute, get up, go somewhere else to stare moar, etc kind of thing.

It's not the best game ever. I'm not one of those idiots posting on every game, but a few things I think would make the game better is:
-A few more wells to make holy water.
-Have a control-setting. (So players can control how they move, change camera angle etc...)
and have save points, so you don't get to the end, die and have to start again.
It was ok, would be better as a normal explore game, like Hood or Alice is Dead, you know. Might just be me. But well done, must have taken ages and amazing effort put in there!! 3.5/5 :) Sorry if offended ...

There are some somewhat simple things you could to make this better.
1. The player is OP: make there be less monsters but make them much stronger. And make the player weaker. Make the player afraid of fighting enemies. Being able to take on 10 enemies at once with barely a scratch does not instill fear in me.
2. Pacing: look at any of the great survival horrors many of them you don't even see any monsters until 10-15 minutes in. I know this game is shorter so scaling that down to about 3 minutes or so would work.
3.Music: really this is much more important then one might think. Put some ambient in there. There are many sites that have CC licensed music on them.
The game has good graphics and I don't see any bugs in it. All the things bad about the game are just design flaws.I really hope this helps in some way. There are not nearly enough survival horror games out there. I hope to see more from NarwhalGames soon.

Dance of Death by Iron Maiden is the best song to listen to during this. Also did anyone else notice that when the skeletons die they do the Bernie dance? Just saying.
