Played patapon at psp. It's a great game.. And this game rocks just like the original one..

now, i know where everybody is coming from when they say there is a difference between copies and games inspired by another but, really i cannot see anything apart from the artwork and beat names that are different and even the artwork bears a close resemblence. They are small, black creatures with no features of than eyes, the spearmen jump just like they do in patapon, all is the same in the pre-journey interface apart from there is no jujupot. pon pon pata pon = boom boom bongo boom, pata pata pata pon = bongo bongo bongo boom, the beat even have the same basic sound in the echo for goodness sake! Yes, it's a decent enough game, and a good online counterpart for patapon, but don't say it's not a copy, it blatantly is. you lose 1 for lack of originality, the concept could have been the same but expand on it a little!!! 4/5

Ah, a nice game to keep me occupied until Patapon 3 comes out... i believe that there should be more types of games with this new concept. oh, i also recommend patapon to anyone who hasn't played it yet. After a while, it becomes quite addictive.

Nice but the rhythm is off and I cant march faster nor attack defend etc im used to patapon's Great music and rhythm now i have patapon 1 - 3

Good job this game is very fun and at the same time frustrating. For example, you are fighting a guy and then u can't remember the beat!! That is why i wright the stuff down. XD lol. Overall a very good game, i don't know what Patapon is so i can't say it's a clone. 5/5

PATAPON PATAPON PATAPON.... stop this all things are inspired by another... music, games, movies so on all are so look at how they used the previous style and see if they could improve or do just as good and they did with this game so give it a break eh? they worked hard to make it no matter what it's inspired by or similuar too.

it would be fun if it kept a straight beat but it doesn't it wavers and its really annoying i am a drummer and i know how to keep a beat this game does not do it please try and fix it i guess it could be called a 'bug'

I just found out, you don't even have to follow the beat. You can just spam down left left left right (for example), and your troops will go forward fine. Same with up up left right, and right right left right.

Best papapon replica i've seen, i've been looking for one all this time :D Only thin i don't like is how the bonga is slightly delayed and that kind of screws me up. 5/5 :D

you don't get enough wood. maybe you get more later on but i never had enough to make anything i wanted to make. hunting only gives you food. also the drum sounds could have been a lot better. 2/5.

Really fun game, and the fact that it's a Patapon clone doesn't change that. Patapon costs money. This doesn't. Patapon had a lot of money to spend to be made, this didn't.
Why would you be angry at someone making a free version of something awesome? No one is taking Patapon away from you.
4/5, just because i'd have to save a 5/5 for someone's original idea. But since you don't pretend this is your original idea, i'm very happy you made this.

@Captal: my forces could handle the ambush no problem. I lost 2 reinforcements on a maxed out swordman but that was it.
