Am I the only one that's a little bit tired of 'these' sort of games? Sure, they were cool when Nerdook was a relatively new developer, but his games all feel like they use the same characters, just re-hashed with some dumb new mechanic. I'm sorry, but all of his games just feel the EXACT SAME, and it shows that, as a developer, he's very limited in what he can do. I'd like to see something with an original art-style at LEAST.

The only thing this game lack is the need for human intervention. In this fashion this is way to oversimplified, and moving the sluggish interface left and right / sometime triggering a special is far from entertaining. I know that my comment wont be the most popular, but I liked the early neerdook games a lot more.. and these later ones are just one in the hundred mainstream, will-run-fine-on-tablet-too forgetable mass.

ok so ive beaten the game twice and still havent recieved the Monarch Mow Down Badge, is it a glitch or is there a certain requirement for it like collecting all the hats?

I had given up on this game at another time in the past just because of level 7. Today's badge of the day gave me incentive to figure out what needs to be done and I think it's possible, but it's still just as annoying. Cat is better than the Sun God any day. :P

@Sendicard, you know that's all in your head right? The description for the level is "face a level 2 cat god". That means all his abilities are at level 2.
I beat the game no problem. Took me an hour, got all golden scarabs, and I'm not even that hardcore of a completionist. Just a bit of practice and timing.

wait i need 5 golden scarabs to unlock the last level, but i already upgraded everything.. so i beat the old levels so fast i cant earn enough gold to get the golden scarab.. working as intended??

You know what's really great? Having a sun king DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH YOU so that you CAN'T BLOCK HIS COUNTERATTACKS EVER. Yeah, that's fair.

Also, grinding is great and all but your games are annoying centered on it. It was refreshing for the first few but... No..... Like you have three entire upgrade tiers for ONE MISSION! That is like 6000 if you were to get them all (at least) and you will at least get a few because you are forced to through pure enemy power. It is just kind of ridiculous.

I liked it but the very fact that when playing as the Sun emperor your abilities tended to stack with the Cat god was kind of annoying. I'd go buy an upgrade from the amount of money I made trying that level so that when I'm done it will be easier, and I would end up watching the Cat god suddenly have more power... Freaking annoying.
Great game nonetheless though. Although I must say I really only stuck around for the badge this time, not because I particularly enjoyed myself.
