Good Idea: trying out a new concept. Bad Idea: milking a new concept. Good Idea: getting people to like your games. Bad Idea: repeating the same thing over and over again, but without making it better. Good Idea: stopping when you know you can do better. Bad Idea: rambling or bungling onward when presenting less makes both you and your game look both better and smarter. This, dear sir, is called overkill.

Absolutely terrible game. There's little to no skill involved on the player's part. Levels are random in that sometimes you get temples that are wide and take longer to build or narrow and they rapidly reach you, your powers are randomized, your basic attack is extremely slow and low refire, and there's really not much you can do about anything except sit and watch. Oh, and there's one level that forces you to upgrade an entirely different useless skill tree just because. 1/5.

To the people who can't get five golden scarabs because they "over upgraded," just put the cursor all the way to the edge of the screen and wait until it completely fills with enemies. Each time you clear the screen wait until it refills again. The combos become huge and that's how you get high enough scores. Besides that, it takes some skill but deliberately missing the sun kings and picking off everything else is what it takes sometimes.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the game to start? Everything I touch on the screen works except the start game button.

Impossible for me to play the Epic Finale because I upgraded too much; I can't earn enough golden scarabs no matter how badly I try to play. Sucks that I can't finish the game. I fail to see the logic of designing a game this way. Also makes zero sense not to allow players to reset upgrades.

I can't unlock the final level until I get 5 golden scarabs. It gets more difficult to do that the more I level up.
Thanks for punishing the player for doing well.

To make the sun emperor mission harder have Cat God wear one of those hats that basically makes him activate the firewall when hurt.

Games should be fun, not a chore. Why make us beat 5 levels the "right" way when we've already beaten the levels? If we had to beat the levels a certain way, then the standards for winning shouldn't have been so lax in the first place.

Man I played the first one and was so excited when this second one came out, because i thought it would be like the first one but cooler. I have a lot of word for this one, but let me some it up, it SUCKS.

The Ankh's description is very misleading. Instead of being usable once per game, it can only be used once, then you have to buy another.

Not a big fan of this game, in fact the reverse. Control scheme is irritating, sick of watching a fireball crawl down the screen as arrows slowly approach me. The game gets very repetitive and dull. You can't control which scarab powers you use, which is annoying since Firewall is far better than anything. Flyers are a bit too hard to hit. I hate the "protagonist" of the game and all the stupid faces he makes. The end song is pretty poorly sung too - the mic quality is pretty poor. I finished the game and got all the badges, but it was more annoying than fun to play. I'm getting pretty tired of nerdook's games in general, with their shallow gameplay, plot, graphics, etc. Despite all that, nerdook's not a bad game developer at all, and this game isn't completely awful - it's just very lacking and not very fun. 3/5

Lv.7 The Sun Emperor is a great way to mill coins--just stand off to the side and summon junk until the timer runs out. It's also a good way to get extra hats. As for what to do with all the coins, maxing out the "Powers" ability (bottom row) seems to be the most helpful early on. Lastly, when it says the Ankh power is usable ONCE, they mean just that: single use and then you have to buy it again, so don't invest in that until you really need it!

how nice of kong to give badge of the day to a drug inspired game on 4/20. "hey man, what if, like, there was a giant cat that rained down fire from clouds on people trying to build things, and thats why they used to worship them?" puff puff

I feel like I'm missing something with this game. It's mostly just sitting around waiting, and hoping you get lucky with your shots' timing. I'm sure there's some skill in the timing, but I don't really get how that's the entire game

This game is cool! I got a my second (pair of) Kongpanion(s), Avi and Avilin! However it crashed on the third level after i defeated 149 enemies, I was so close!
