You returns to your office just in time to hear the phone ring. You answer. The chief of police is on the other line. "Congratulations," he bursts out. "We'd never have caught that murderer without your help."
"Thank you, sir," you mutter, but the voice at the other end continues unabated.
"I have to admit, after you found out that that visitor was a hired assassin with a grudge against him, I was convinced we had our man. I'd never have guessed it was the orphan!"
"Yes, sir," you reply. The officer seems to hear the grief in your voice, but though his next words are offered comfortingly, their tone is anything but.
"I'd never have drawn the connection between his depression and art-collecting and the murderer. You're a genius, my boy. There's not an art-collecting, depressed orphan on the streets that not terrified of you."

Three of the suspects are, in fact, escaped fugitives!
However, a piece of evidence reveals that this fact proves them all INNOCENT, leaving only one suspect left. Mistery solved.

The clue says that the orphan is a con artist. .....isnt being a con artist already illegal? not the con artist game developer

I keep coming back to play this game. It's one of those games that I live for, sadly. I love solving crimes, because usually, in the end, it's the guy who everyone, except me, overlooked. I can't take away points for it being easy, since it can prove challenging for people who don't think like I do (Is that egotistic? Yeah, sorry. I don't mean to be rude in my comments. Just typing away.) Anyways, I give it a 5/5, since it reaches a 10/10 on my rating scale. Good job.

I wish you could see the notepad after you fail... I swear it said "Murder is not a business partner with the victim" and apparently the doctor was the murder -and- business partner with the victim

Wait, how does the sibling not hold any grudges with the victim. If they truly were siblings, they'd most likely want to have lots of revenge!

The graphics is mediocre, and the gameplay could use more time, suspects, episodes and clues for each suspect, but it is still a good game. Shortly, make Clue Sweeper 2 please!

Wow, this game is crazy. The victim was shot straight through the heart, but the murderer is not an expert with firearms, but rather knives!

Ok, so the Pastor is a Religious fanatic who collects art, makes sense
The traveler is a Religious fanatic who is deep in debt, understandable.
The Lover is an escaped fugitive who collects art, lol what?
And finally both the student and the lawyer are escaped fugitives who are afraid of the victim.
Explain to me why the murderer is the Pastor when everyone else has a clear motive for the crime?

This clue indicates that the killer is NOT a sociopathic psycopath. WHAT ON EARTH WAS THE CLUE? WHAT CLUE DO YOU FIND THAT MAKES YOU CONCLUDE THAT HE ISN'T THE MOST RANDOM THING? This game is weird.

Top-Tip: When interviewing for a butler, make sure to ask that the applicant is not a brutally violent expert with knives.

i was planning to just get the badge but i couldnt stop playing... sequel pls and btw if youre good at playing minesweeper, this is just a walk in the park

Really fun game! Although I wish there was a logic element, in which, for example "a gambler" is probably "in debt", so the clue "in debt" could relate to him, even without being specified for him. Maybe do that in the sequel? *wink*, *wink*

Nerdook has to make another one. This game is so good. It would be amazing if they made another game with more cases, a bit more of an actual story line (a main character, more about "Miss Scarlet") and a lot more things to buy.
