There's some really shoddy logic going on in this detective's mind. "The murderer was not a hired assassin!" Okay, there's nothing that could indicate that. You might find evidence to confirm that the murder itself was not an act of paid assassination, but it doesn't logically follow that the murderer CANNOT be a hired assassin because of that. Actually, if anyone near the scene of the crime is revealed to be a hired assassin, they'd probably go to the top of my suspect list regardless of what the suspected motives are.

"The Murderer was NOT a gifted musician!" Um...what kind of clue would indicate that little tidbit? A poorly composed score left by the victim's corpse as a villainous signature? I feel like their are a lot of really entertaining stories being glossed over in this game.

“That was amazing, detective! How were you able to deduce that it was the gardener so quickly?”
“It was elementary, my friend. Everyone in our universe has only two characteristics!”

I've found a gun on the ground, so that obviously means the doctor is right handed. If he's right handed, that means The murderer is not a secret cult leader, as i know the doctor is one and the doctor is innocent, leading me to assume the orphan is the murderer!!! (unless my logic is flawed, but all the secret cult leaders i know are left handed). Also, what if someone is ambidextrous in this game, they aren't left or right handed?

You've discovered that the Nurse is a hired assassin! You've discovered the Nurse has an airtight alibi and is innocent!

lol I can just imagine the murderer not being a hired assassin, then somebody like the Orphan randomly shouting out that he's a hired assassin. "Your free to go orphan."

I think there is a flaw in the game, that makes it too easy. If I have two positive clues for the murderer, I can eliminate all suspects that are only missing one clue. They can be eliminated simply because they cannot have both.

The clue indicates that the Murderer is Left-handed! . . . Oh, well, that's nice . . . except that MAGICALLY, against all odds, ALL of the suspects are LEFT-handed!

An extremely good opportunity to tie clues and revelations about the suspects into what coincides with the murder that took place (i.e. the murder weapon was a handgun and the murderer may be someone that is versed in firearms) was sorely missed here. The game is nonetheless addicting and thoughtfully produced.

This Clue indicates the murderer is NOT a meticulous planner.........
THEN MAYBE HE SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD AN AFFAIR AND KILLED SOMEONE!

"The clue indicates that the Criminal Mastermind is NOT An Underworld Criminal"
Why are they called the Criminal Mastermind again?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm questioning why I'm not arresting everyone. The minister is politically corrupt and an underworld criminal. The mayor is a cult leader as well as a megalomaniac. The commissioner is an imposter while the others are cheaters and murderers. The mastermind is a short-tempered smoker...

Finds clue that the butler is a hired assassin. Ignores. Finds clue that the killer is left handed. Freaks out, eliminates half the suspects, solves case.

"A body was found at the hotel, suffocated by a pillow!"
Finds gun, collects money for finding murder weapon. The coroner must have missed the gaping bloody bullet hole.

I have the worst luck XD Very first level: All the suspects were left-handed, all were convicted felons. My clues? "The murderer is a convicted felon." "The murderer is left-handed." "Time's up, who's the murderer?" ._.

@RavehDaveh I saw more than two people with the same trait. But you are right about only being able to have two traits simplifies things a lot.

The rules are set which makes this far easier than it should be:
1. A trait can only apply to 2 people. II. A person will always have exactly 2 traits.

The murderer is the victim's business partner. Nurse is the victim's business partner. He has an airtight alibi. Who am I to believe here?

After all these years, this is still my absolute favorite game on Kongregate. I really wish there was a follow up to this game.
