I see a pattern here and can tell Nerdook has something against heroes. He must really be an evil genius preparing us for his rise to power. If we are not careful soon we shall have to call him Overlord Nerdook as he takes over the world with his epic games! *Cue evil laugh and sinister music*

Normally I'm against this, but perhaps it would be good to have a short "Are you sure?" Dialogue when pressing the reset key. I only say this because I just clicked it accidentally on the last enemy of the last wave.

Bit of a random question, but is the level music from anywhere? was it made specifically for the game? i just wanna know where else i can find it cuz i absolutely LOVE it

Heroes trying trying to kill me with their guns...but my Drones stopped them dead... I have my Traps and Turrets... Fighting back... And I shot them in the head! Kill the heroes! No survivors... I make my final stand. After the battle... Have no fear... I will LIVE to fight again!

At first I thought the main character was a very confused hero who only THOUGHT he was an evil mastermind because he had amnesia and woke up in the mastermind's lair.

Hero: "We're going to kill you for being evil!"
Evil Villain: "Activate special power: Spam drones!"
You win!
PS. Thank you, Nerdook, for putting songs back into your games. It's just not a Nerdook game without a fun song to look forward to at the end.

I think drones need to be less powerful... you can basically beat the whole game with just drones... even the anti-drone enemies couldn't withstand my drone army

Chargers FTW. Seriously I don't use anything else but Chargers and Gas tiles, On stage 19 the game stated they now can kill my drones faster. I paused for a moment, looked at the screen and said... "But I don't use Drones..."
Either Chargers needed to be weakened or the Hackers have a larger Radius cause even they were being hit by the chargers for a tick before getting near them...

So I've upgraded 4 things so far and haven't gotten the badge. This is a fun game, but I'd rather not have to play through the entire thing in order to earn one badge....especially since it's the badge of the day.

I love almost all Nerdook games, and this one is no exception. However, am I the only one who, for the last half of the game, built nothing but upgraded, standard drones, by the swarm?

I really enjoy the game but find it rather annoying that I went through the game 3 stars on each board and I am forever +2 stars.

Got on to quickly grab the BotD since I already had gotten the Badge back in 2014. Then I saw that I had not fully beaten the game as I was still missing the "3 Star Mastermind Badge" and said to myself, "Ok, time to finally finish this thing." Btw, my strategy is maxing out the Drone and General upgrades, then spamming drones and upgrading them. The drones keep the heroes from shooting at you as they are busy killing the drones so you can simply wait for passive income to buy more drones until the heroes are overwhelmed and the General upgrades makes it easier to spam mass amounts of towers and gain more money.

Protip: Snipers have unlimited range, so your position to a sniper is irrelevant for taking less damage. The sniper does prioritize drones, but you should also put the mastermind AS CLOSE to the sniper as possible to attempt shooting back at him to deal with him quickly. He's also usually a lot slower than the other heroes.

ahh heroes. the Lemmings of video games charging at anything that may give them money or reputation with no though of self preservation

I easily got all the stars and beat all the levels without retrying by first getting B in passive, upgrading hulk drones fully, upgrading cash boosters fully, getting the rest of the drones upgrades, getting the rest of the charger upgrades, and then whatever- I went for D and upgrade for normal turrets. On all the levels I started off with 2-4 chargers (upgrade 1 to emp and rest to cash boosters after buying several of the drones in the next step), then made 8 drones evenly scattered around the map so they attack from different angels surviving longer (upgrade all to hulk), and spent my remaining money on whatever I wanted. Great game and good luck winning!

You're just sitting around in your lair, not hurting a thing, and then the "heroes" come along and try to kill you. I'm not sure if you're actually the villain in this game.

I love it, but it's the first one I gave 4/5 for a Nerdook game. There is so much going on, there needs to be more obvious indications/reminders of what everything is and what it does. An infobox on hover would be appreciated for ALL the bits and bobs.

this game teaches us many valuable lessons. the villains arent always the ones with the more bad ass equipment(even though it prevails). the heroes dont always win.. life lessons here folks.

-'So, here's the plan: We're gonna walk around in circles along this halls, and when you see the guy, you SHOOT him.'
-'Boss, just one question: shouldn't we avoid those turrets and undissimulated gas traps? They seem lethal.'
-'Nah, let's hope all this expensive technology lasts enough to keep walking around.'

I can't be the only person that jumps for joy after seeing another nerdook game pop up on the kongregate front page. Great game 5/5 keep up the good work. =D

Upgraded Cash Boosters, upgraded Hulk Drones, and the occasional standard mine and Blaster turret beats every late-game level without needing to switch. And as a bunch of other comments have posted, there's other "way to win them all" strategy including mass Hulk Drones. Wish there was a hard mode or something where you'd need to actively reset skills to win (Survival definitely doesn't count). Besides the relative easiness, awesome game, 5/5.

It's pretty good. However, a lot of TD games tend to fall into a pit where one strategy gets you through the whole game, and this is no exception. Using the charger, upgraded blasters, hulks(these are hard for the enemy to kill if you mass them before the drone killing armor) and teleporting allowed me to beat every level, I upgraded slightly of course as it allowed, but the same overall strategy was the same. Perhaps it's just me, but I like to be using a strategy and just see it blown to bits on certain levels forcing me to alter it. In my opinion, that separates a good td from a great td. I really like the overall idea, but could use a harder setting or something. 3/5

Nerdook seems to have updated for all the people complaining about the drones. They have 15 less hp when fully upgraded, and I've found that building a balanced defense is more effective than simply spamming drones.

It was pretty cool when you get an hold of it, first few levels were pretty difficult for me since I had no idea what I was doing, after a while I knew how to build it up, I just have to say, put up a few blaster turret and some stun mines next to them was awesome! Be aware though, use 2 or 3 Hulk drones for the Snipers and maybe 1-2 EMP for the shields! Played through the whole game, best game of the month! 5/5
