A pretty neat abuse I saw here was the rocket launcher switch trick.
All you do is quickly press Q and Space alternately. With this, you can fire all 2 to 4 rockets within a second. At the same time firing your other alternate weapon. I like to partner it with the Gauss Gun. Fastest time I killed the Boss AI was 12 secs. :)

Great game. The randomization is a nice touch that makes it so you can come back if the enemy placement was too hard the first time. It would be nice to see a game that rewards a middle of the road approach though. (I do like the higher pacifist bonus, it makes all that difficult sneaking around worth it)

In my opinion, easiest way to kill/farm last boss:
Get the following skills: Pistol Whip (knocks him back nicely if he gets up to you), Speed Reload, Expand Mag, Electric Punch (states nowhere that it is melee only, if you don't want it then switch for something else). Make sure you get all the range upgrades (damage, critical, etc) and use the Gauss Rifle. Either have Flamethrower (for fun and knockback) or Power Gloves for secondary weapon. Stick far left, then just sit there and shoot the boss till he dies. If any enemies get in the line of fire they will die while you continue to kill the boss. If for some reason he gets up to you (most of the time he shouldn't) Pistol Whip should knock him back enough, otherwise use your secondary weapon and switch back when you have some space between him.

Just wanted to provide some feedback on what I think could be changed:
- The dog can be useful but most of the time he runs around or jumps, doing nothing. It'd be nice if he just followed you and attacked the enemy attacking you/the enemy you attack.
- Overgrind SHOULD unlock after completing "Final Zone". For now it’s pointless, especially when you already have everything. I have $22000 sitting around now, that would have been useful for the "Upgrade Complete" badge, giving overgrind a purpose.
- HP from the chests felt pointless, 10hp would have been nice making it worthwhile as opposed to the 2hp boost which made almost no difference.
- It'd be nice to have some sort of statistics to see the difference between weapons and the damage increase from chests.
- The fact enemies jump around so frequently just gets tiring and frustrating, making it an undesirable challenge. It'd be nice if it was less frequent, more so when they can see you.
Good game overall, enjoyed most of it.

Nerdook, you always surprise me with good games every two months or so.
It's pure magic.
(Props for the Monkey Island reference, btw)

The "50%" avoid boss that sometimes occurs has failed me seven out of eight times thus far. I think the chances are skewed

You know, I was thinking, "I ought to do damage when I land on an enemy . . ." and lo and behold, there's a skill that does just that! Good job on coming up with a variety of perks like that.

small bug i found, if you die while moving on to the next screen you gain max hp again and show up in the next area. xD
