Fun game! I love the upgrades and the strategy involved in this. The only negative is that you lose all your upgrades after you beat the game and try on harder mode. Feels kind of sad to lose all progress and having to start all over - even tho the game kind of tries to make up for it by rewarding more EXP.

Sorry, I gave it a chance, but I still don't see why everyone thinks Nerdook's games are so great. They're okay, don't get me wrong. A good solid 3/5 everytime, just...not anything special. Sorry. Please proceed to downrate the crap outta this, but thats the only way I can feel about this, and the other Nerdook games.

I wish there was a way to reset your Experience. It seems that if you level up something too much and "waste" your experience, you get to a point that you are stuck. For instance, For funsies, I put all my points into the archer to make him powerful. However, the elites seem to take him down fast, and no matter what I do, I cant level any of the other characters. So maybe a 100s reset all exp function.

I like it, except for the fact that you can't decide to grind earlier if you're stuck in one. Right now, I only have one area to do before the Shogun and can't seem to beat it after a couple of tries, maybe because I didn't buy the right upgrades. Not being able to grind makes me literally stuck there.
generally, any (permanent) upgrades will let you win. I wanted to make something that was more challenging. some tips: kill mooks as soon as you see them, save ricefields for when you need them most, avoid forests (unless you have the upgrade to heal from them), and never ever ever waste your clicks.

im not done with the game yet, but i might as well comment. As always, a beautifully executed game by Nerdook. Sadly, it is not for me. It isn't interactive enough for how i like my flash games. I wish i had some control over the samurai during the combat, even just a go here or there button.

Unfortunately, this time I say "no" to random fight pattern and the way you explore tiles, which may result in defeat just due to bad luck :/
there's a strategy to the tile opening, and battle tactics depend on how you've specialized your upgrades/companions, and when to activate the special abilities!
