Tip for first two days on the hard setting: Nail Gunners are your friends! Only use Nail Gunners on these two levels. To start, space your men evenly across the play field, making sure their field of fire covers as much as possible. There WILL be some overlapping of fire, but this is good, the aliens are hard to kill and will take several shots each to take down. As you get the money to place more troops, place them as you see fit. I ended up with a Nail Gunner every two spaces in the front row, with 'backup' Nail Gunners behind every second or third one by the final wave. This is a guaranteed tactic for winning the first two days on any setting, I haven't lost using it yet. Good Luck.

What I noticed is that you can have unlimited amount of people, so why doesnt the general send them out to fight with their fists when he doesnt have any more resources?

Boss:"Alright guys, let's stay in place and fire at anything nearby... do not move." Troop:"Can we turn around?" Boss:"Why the hell would you want to do that..." *Day 1* Troop:"Can i go help my buddy?" Boss:"I said, NO TURNING AROUND." *Massacre*

Didn't get the completion badge when I completed the game the first time, but I got the 12 Gold Star badge when I only had 9 Gold Stars and 3 Bronze Stars, so I guess it all worked out ><

1 followed by your highest number then space will generate the quickest money. It's tricking the game into thinking the item you are selling back is worth more than the first item pressed.
Intriguing design flaw there by Mr Programmer!

@Werewing - his suggestion is for Colour Coded targets when you press 'e' - for example red for flamethrowers, green for nail gunners, etc.
And it would be a good improvement, it's hard to tell for the front rows who's who.

@Anakin2177: They have that, it's the E key.
To all:Read the Instructions and Description before offering suggestions.

really all you need to do to win is use an assload of nailgunners, just did day 5 with with about 50 or 60 nailgunners and a few gravity gunners that barely got used.

XXDarkShadow79XX, turning your back to a single enemy is disrespectful. Turning your back to a swarm is dangerous and stupid. This is the best way to explain why your units should not turn around if the main target of the enemy is the ship.

The dullness, length and sheer unplayability of this game is absolutely maddening. It baffles me that it got such high rating.

@NormaTheNorman I adjusted the test in the badge description so it's a bit more clear now. Thanks for letting us know it was a bit vague.

Oh my god. I finally get like 20 flare gun men up in the front lines and one guy dies from a runner, that runner then proceeds to eat half of men! Why won't you look to your left Fredrick, why do you only look forward!
Great Game. 5/5 This game rocks.

Okay gamers, when it comes to a VIDEO game of the Sci-Fi genre, it's very important to make it AS REAL AS POSSIBLE. This includes making sure that logic, such as "humans in space" has a good reason & certain game-play features that make it "fun" are scrutinized by trying to apply real-world reasoning to a fake-world reality.
