@anakin2177 It would be more precise if you were able to see only a specific weapon type of its class, so that would really solve the problem if say, the flamers really didn't cover everyone, and you can clearly see that from just reviewing the flamers only

Commander: "Okay men, I want you to shoot anything that comes in range."
Nail Gun Troop: "What if the aliens get past us? Do we turn around?
Commander: "NO!"

Great game experience. If you do a sequel, try to maintain this level of story involvement. It would be easy to focus on adding new features and hulking it out to make it a more exciting TD game, but don't forget that characters who get stranded on a desert moon likely won't be coming back intentionally. Perhaps in the sequel you can have the army invade the aliens. They you could use a conquest-style campaign with tons of different maps.

line up a line in the back of the area and make them face straight. Make a straight rectangle that looks like the nose of a smiley face (2 lines ) and aim them spread out. When there is a big wave, the monsters blood spatter will look like a smiley

Were stranded here without weapons. Except nail guns, flare guns and everything else we don't realize we have like sentry airdrops and stuff

There is a bug when buying an unit. When I click twice fast enough, the soldier is placed behind the hud and after choosing his looking area he is outside the red line.

I really enjoyed the game. Only the 3rd day was hard though, I just seemed to have trouble with the sneaky bastards. I played on normal though, but day 4 and 5 was so easy, it was just passing time.

5/5 AWESOME game :D. I am sure he has his reasons for the things he has on this game. Maybe he is working on it as we speak, or maybe he just doesnt know how to script it. :l

A suggestion to the top rated comment up there: Besides just color-coding each unit, maybe assign hotkeys to show only certain units' cover areas? Rate up if you agree.

Played 5 seconds and loved it right away... I was expecting it to be a shooter, not a defense, but this is way better than i imagined a defense game could be

Lovely gameplay. If this can be considered a Tower Defence Game, it's the most entertaining of all, since you can make YOUR OWN tactics, troop formations. It is the first TD game that I didn't get bored after 30 minutes. As everyone said: it needs more depth. But the idea of not having to upgrade your units is the best, for me. It's been some time since I last played a game with such originality. Deserves at LEAST 4/5

The game is REALLY good. it's fun and easy to play, yet challenging enough to keep the player thinking. For example after the 4'th day (which is way too easy btw ;)) I thought "Hey, those beam things are deadly, I have so many resources that I can place a few of those guys. Guess I'll go only with them". DEATH IN THE FIRST ROUND. Thus I decided to go with rifleman, fuel throwers and flare gunners. Worked :-).
And while the final stand is really hard it is totally worth the epic outro. Hope you make a sequel to this ^_^.

cool game, but reeeaaaly anoying to loose at the final wave because the earlier waves wasnt too hard... it makes you stop playing

Would be cool if you could upgrade your troops e.g. more range, faster shooting, more damage. Also some kind of torret and wires or traps to buy.
What about a boss fight. Some kind of weird thing that spawns other weird things :)
But I really liked it, although nearly all man died on day 4. DonĀ“t know why, maybe they where tired...

I love it! we just need to scroll into the map so we can see where the aliens attack (i.e. mainly in the corner, middle, or whatever) but over all i loved it! 5/5

This game has just one quarrel. On the left of the game screen, enemies keep passing through even though they already been shot at, and it really annoys me. One feature that might fix this is having the unit firing at the enemy lock onto it until its out of range, like a tower defense game. That, and bunkers and stuff you can use too slow the enemy down, or increase line of sight for units, and you have a great game, but I'm taking 1 point for that problem (which others probably have besides me), so 4/5.

@level 3 protip, put a barrier of shooters behind the flamethrowers, BEHIND.trying to place shooters too near the alien horde = onomnom, flamethrowers have the ability to knock back enemies, allowing units behind him to finish 'em, start with 3 shooters (after deploying the 3 flamers) and try to cover the area near them and keep adding units...

Need to have a replay wave option. It sucks to make it all the way to the last wave on day 5 and get overrun and have to start all over. good concept, needs a few more features.

Nice idea, nice game, good potential - But I don't wanna have to spam the Repulser all the time, and it sucks that you are pretty much screwed, if just one enemy gets close enough to one of your guys...

This is a very nice game, it has good graphics and excellent sound & music. I hope there will be a sequel with more depth, more possiblities and improvements to the gameplay.
So far, thanks for the play!

Day 3: HARD - place three flame throwers in front evenly across and slightly overlapping, place nail guns behind as you get resources, once the nails have taken over, recycle the flames for more nails. EASY!

the game is really cool, but how about upgrading units depending on their kills?
the could get better by themselfs without paying for an upgrade, maybe better range, faster fire rate, damage... just a slight increase
