i am not getting the medium badge, even though i have both hard badges and all levels beaten. is this happening for anyone else?

Aliens: Alright guys, so they have dozens of men guarding one half of the ship, we are all going to attack that side. Now, runners and bloaters, run in and die a lot. Hunters, piss them off. And infected, take a leisurely walk towards them, before getting blown back by their imploders. Everyone got that? Alright, let's do this!

I was really disappointed that the aliens could move in 360 degrees and my men could only see a thin line in front of them. The aliens would run around my defensive line and eat everybody. If they fixed this then it could be a good game. Anybody would follow the aliens with their gun. Are these babies who have no concept of object permanence; so when the aliens get behind them they forget about them?

From what ive played so far its a great game (Except day 3 wich was boring as hell and seemed to kill me off right near the end everytime (on hard)).

Great game... more depth would have been nice but it was definately a top-notch game... on thing that frustated me was everyonce and a while my whole army would get wiped because of one runner coming from behind...
If you made it so they couldn't take out the whole army this game would be perfect... 4.5/5

A tip for Day 3 3Star on Hard... Start with 3 Flame Throwers all the way in front, space evenly. Place Nail Guns directly behind and 3 spaces back. Fill that row with Nailers as you can. Next make a row of Nailers 1 space back from your Flame Thrower line. Finish by filling in the middle row. Use Support on Last Wave only. Easy 3 Stars on Hard.;)

Nice... it's a great game, love the story, love the set-up... I think it's pretty well complete. I do see the attraction of upgrades and structures, but they really don't fit the storyline. These guys are only here for 5 days and they have no intention of staying. Maybe in Desert Moon II we could colonize.=) The suggestion of day to day continuity of resources and weapons would add something to the game but I think the balancing issues might be a lot to over come. I think if it were that way it would have taken me a few tries to even make it to Day 5 on easy the first time. BTW, the lvl4 Support Only Badge maybe should be Impossible instead of Hard. lol. 5/5

A tip for badge 3: On the first level use a sentry. From 2 to 10 use sentinel. On 11 wait until the infected are near and use beam surge. From 12 to 14 use sentinel. From 15 to 20 use the sentinel to kill the running thingies and when the infected are near use surge. On 20 you will use it twice.

Found out how i did it, If you have a touchpad, if you let go immediately while having a unit selected and about to be placed for the first time, the unit will drop where you let it go.
If that makes any sense at all.

A new addition to the tower defence group. This is definately neat, but it does need some more depth on the battle field. Even some artwork, and make some walls the creatures need to go around. Also, make it so you can upgrade individual people. 5/5.

I like the premise of this game, but the inability to turn to your left at an approaching enemy kills some of the fun factor.

what's going on? I'm playing yet another lame lane defense game, and I'm having f... I'm having fffu, ff-f-fun? This feeling is alien to me on Kongregate, I am confused and infuriated! ... oh, and I can't see the entire screen, which sucks but hey, day 4 and hasn't caused any problems I guess.

"Hey, you know what? I'm not gonna aim there because there's a load of monsters there, I'm just gonna wait here until they kill me..." Great game definetly worth a shot...but why put in the range system? Some enemies goes onto the side and my guys can't even aim neverthless register the hits

Man, good thing all this fuel they have laying around didn't ignite when they crashed. Probably would have made Hiroshima look like a wet firecracker.

to get the first hard badge, it is fairly straight forward. Use the sentry gun (#2) the first day, and then every day thereafter use the plasma gun (#3). On the last wave use the 4th option and mow down the enemies as soon as you can. Once they are all dead your available cash shoots up and then you can coast to victory.

I beat stages 1,2,4,5 on hard (3 stars), but stage 3 I beat on easy (1 star). I did not recieve the medium badge until I re-defeated stage 3 on hard (3 stars). There appears to be some hidden condition more than "Survive all 5 days - any difficulty"

Easy build: Make a row of flares near the ship, then in front of them put imploders (nailguns for the first two days). If there's any chance of hunters, make a third row of flamers. Make absolutely sure there's no gaps in the flamer line or you are totally screwed. Put some fuel launchers in the back if you have the money. For the last couple levels of day 5, sell your flares and spam lasers. When all else fails send out the drone, spam Repulsor and use Beamsurge if possible.
