I would NOT go for color coded Firing Lanes!
Set the View Firing Lane on toggle and make it 3 modes: Off, Specific, All.
On Specific you see only the Firing Lanes of the unit type you mouse over.
Color coded would make everything brown at the end.

Put two of your flamethrowers at the edge....and 6 gaps to the others... you'll make a good 5 flamethrower killer

This game is easy. Nail gunners use them every level but the one with the guys underground.
Works easy did 5 rows of nail gunners on the last level on hard. Killed everything but they do need help form the supports.

The problem of creating a full human wall is that when the aliens break through the range of the weapons,the humans would instantly become a buffet and this would result in the defense line being punctured or wiped out,so the solution is to leave a gap of maybe one or two units apart so when the aliens still manage to break through,fewer units would be lost and when you think the current formation is strong enough to hold off the next few waves,keep adding different ranged units at different lines to provide either support fire for the front units(use flaregun units)or go head-on with the aliens waves(short ranged units).By then,the firepower should be enough to hold until more units can be added. + to let others see.

lvl 3 start with 3 flamethrowers with two nails behind each spread evenly. then get more of each. the don't get any fuel things. flares if you must

For the asymmetric map (BUG), the flamethrowers that fire incorrectly from some angles due to asymmetry (BUG), random death due to AI re-aiming gunners incorrectly (BUG), and the tediousness of playing this over and over again fingers crossed hoping that the random luck will mean you don't get an enemy insta-killing 2 of your men, thereby forcing you to restart the ENTIRE level ... I'm giving this game 1/5.

Tip for Day 1. Put a 3 spread out nail Flare gunners at the Base (1 left 1 right 1 middle) then put 2 nail gunners guarding the middle flare gunner and two flare gunners on the right middle and left middle then there you go .

ok, so finaly got 3 gold stars on all 5 days. day 3 is the hardest by fare. if you dont get the first 4 pyromaniacs placed just right your screwed be4 wave 11.

HELPFULL GLITCH: This will allow you to place engi's on top of eachother or in positions that would normally be red, such as outside of the box. 1st you need to place your engi over an area where you would be able to place him normally. 2nd you need to right click. 3rd click on the desired area and wa-laa! you now have a engi where ever you want. Thumbs up if this helped you!

Awesome game, if you make a second, some ideas I would love to see:
-Upgrading specific unites after they earn 10,100,1000 kills, they get a damage boost and/orrange boost.
-Turrets: I would love to see the ability to equip turrets to the ship. you can have a limited number of turrets up at one time, lets say four or five, and you upgrade them with resources.
-Poison weapon: a weapon with a long range that shoots poison gas that hits a target and stays there for a bit, anyone who runs through the poison takes damage.
-Ice launcher: Much like the flame thrower, except instead of damaging enemies it freezes them, damage from any other source instantly kills them.

This game is nice, I really like it.
Needs probably some more levels and features to be a really good game.
A speed up button wouldn't be bad too.
But overall it's a 5/5 for me.

alien 1: what are they should we attack all at once to try and get them off gard,
alien comander:attack sending the weak in first then send them in, in waves giving them a chance to restock their army,
alien 2: why isnt that a stupid idea,

For the very last wave, on day 5; It's all those crawling ones. Keep using number 1, 3 and 4. there is 2,000 to kill so you'll basically never run out of money. :DD

Hard is hard, but should a Flamethrower dude have the chance to die in a battle VS a single Hunter coming head on? No distractions.

I played day 5 on easy, and using nothing but nailers and no support powers I got to level 18 with no deaths, just line up nailers at the beginning and then just put tons behind them, it is the most ownage you have ever seen.
