I may have said this before, but I'll say it again: this needs a sequel or level editor. I keep playing the same levels over and over again because I like the gameplay.

AMAZING GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Needs badges, a sequel, longer campaign, maybe even add playable aliens. + if you agree to at least one idea.

Loved the game but level 17 is extremely frustrating on normal, as the motherships build rate is ridiculously high (I have completed all other levels on normal)

love this game its better then "nano war" because the ships actually fighting. It's a great detail. Can't wait to see #2.

good game, nice artwork and sound, needs customization (skills, upgrades, level up system) and a ton more lvl's. Would get 5 stars if you did that stuff with ease from alot of people Im betting.

Or at least some sort of "random map generator", maybe even a map maker?
This game was just so good, and if I could randomly generate my own maps, or even just put in specifics and let the game generate it, it would be awesome.
This game is pretty much my new addiction.

Aaaaaah the last level was reaaaallly difficult, the way i finally figured it out was to capture the laser and the earth (having to colonize the Earth bugs me though lol), and the immediately sending as many ships as possible to the laser that is under attacked (all 75 ships + all the produced ships), and then defending the other targets of the mothership WHILE capturing the moon, then taking the third laser WHILE DEFENDING THAT GODDAMN SHIPYARD, and if you can control the shipyard and the 3 lasers, you need to find a window to launch a massive attack on the left ship which will burn your population and leave you defenseless for a while, and if you can survive this, its easy, BUT DAMN

Needs a skirmish mode ( set number of planets random sized, set player number, set starting ships, and maybe number of motherships ).

I've seen this type of game before but the extra "base" types, like lasers and shipyards, as well as the beautiful graphics and music put this game a step above the rest.

Great game, one of my favorite games on Kong. As the other comments suggest a squeal would be great! I'd love to see more of Solarmax, More levels, a squeal as mentioned, or a multiplayer - Solarmax would fit in them all. And by the way, kinda missed a little story, though the average at the end of the game was something that surprised me, nice touch.
Well, hope to see more great games!

Tis a shame I will likely never get to play the original. The second one is truly amazing. I do wonder what the first was like.
