- I found the game quite easier with the Broadsword/Claymore/Tyrfing, as you can just charge your attack and release it when enemies come near you without ever moving. You can also beat the shielded enemies easily by charging your attack then releasing it as soon as they attack you (I think a little bit later is better). - Anyway the game is easier if you separate enemies by going behind a wall, then move a bit away from the wall and go back behind the wall, so that only a few enemies can follow you. It's especially useful when archers are around as they can't fire through walls UNLESS they are very close to thin walls.

To make the game easier, you can use the little sword which fire something when you charge your sword, and fire at big packs of enemies to wear them down. Just be careful that you advance a bit when you fire, so you have more range but you also get closer to enemies.

Difficult, but veery good!
Got it in my free indie games list: http://indieplague.blogspot.com/2012/12/swoooords-colon-lords-of-sword-2012.html

are you working on multiplayer? the reason im asking is when i went to the second depth i saw 5 players with different colors for a second or two.

If the game doesn't start when you press space click the button to switch language until you get back to English then press space.

Good game, but the "revive" power-up doesn't work. Its just a heal and is misleading to call it "revive". Moreover, the difficulty is quite high in this game with traps and mob swarms but with no revives in this game, it can get frustrating especially when you made it quite far and fell into the lava (lame deaths...etc). Should have bosses as well, more equips and upgrades and fresh level designs to improve gameplay, replayability and purpose (for example you can make the game "end" at floor 10 but allow the player to continue on as far as he desires to provide both closure and replayability). Stretching it to 3/5.

repeatedly and rapidly using the "dodge" of gyrfing sword (and probably swords with the same block+rush dodge) causes a permanent stacking speed increase. sounds good to begin with but when im zipping around so fast that my guy doesnt stop unless he hits a wall or over a cliff it gets unplayable. especially with traps and wall less parts. other than that an awesome game.

Pretty good, I wish there was a way to turn off the music so I could listen to my own. That is really my only criticism of it.

IndieDB unfortunately requires some manual authorization for its downloads, I think I'll post it to mediafire or something in the meantime.

Unhh - one more thingy - Your "download" link goes to indiedb, but... there is no download available. Download the game? Cartman says "I would if I could..." ;(

Breathtaking. 5/5, though one bug - guards won't go past the "rolling blades", which makes them excellent target for sabre tier of weapons in some situations. But the game ROCKS. Thanks, Dev, You made my day.

not bad... i couldn't muted it... didn't try that hard to. wanted more equipment stuff. didn't like losing my sabre at the start of a new level. dying reset/re-randomized my current level which wasn't as good as retrying it
