Random Bug: While playing as Peyote, if you activate his ultimate power AND have the red spread upgrade, you cannot see the large dancing Peyote. Instead, you see the small ship moving with your mouse.

Not a bad little game. I had two issues. One, the spread on the extra shots was usually way to wide. After the second upgrade half my shots went to the sides of the screen and were wasted. Second, some of the specials didn't work fully correct in auto-fire, I had to be holding the mouse when I hit space for them to work.

It got boring by the end because the challenge was so low. The only time I got hit was when there were too many coins in the way and I couldn't see bullets, haha.

Overall, it's a good concept/theme and a decent game. Just a few suggestions for the future: (1) If you're going to give me a bullet hell-sized hit box, give me bullet hell pacing and bullet density. Enemies were literally no challenge whatsoever and there was no skill required to dodge the maximum few dozen bullets on screen at any point. As far as pacing goes, speed things up--a lot. There were times where I'd wait a good 5-10 seconds in between waves with no enemies on screen. (2) Tone down the space bar special. Especially with rainbow vomit, it's basically an instant-win button, since coins->rainbow vomit->more coins->repeat. (3) Make the bosses tougher. Killing the final boss of the game in two seconds with rainbow vomit is disappointing.

And I forgot to talk about the lives: when you lose one heart you drop tons a medics so what is the point in upgrading the max hp ? I think the balance between max hp and hp loot need to be adjusted.
Very nice game anyway.

The game is really nice and fun, I had to retry a couple a lvl several time (damn trolls) but the bosses are way too easy and flawed. I killed the bowser just by staying in a safe spot by his side and I killed the robot in less than 5sec with the octonyan's rainbow.

New bug with the autofire (sorry ;P ) If AF is on then nothing happens when pressing space If I haven't pressed the left mouse button sometime before, on that level.

After I beat any level, it just continues on forever without enemies, even after the timer stopped. The only way to beat the level is to go to the menu while i'm drifting along in endless space. But now I have tons of coins and I can't even spend it.

haha meme shooter. i love the peyote character but the octocat is a boss with the rainbow vomit. the coins are harder to get in later levels, so i spent a lot of time in 8-bit world 1 farming

The level 3 shot upgrade actually decreases the amount of damage you to do the target you're aiming at, since it puts you back at one forward shot. Maybe change it to have two forward and one on each side, so it's completely beneficial? Also nice that you let players keep their coins when they fail a level, but kind of defeats the purpose if you don't give them a chance to spend those coins before trying again. I'm also not really clear on what the timer's all about. It seems to correlate to the end of the level but not clearly enough to be of much use.

UPD. Autofire is added and fixed. You can enable it on the map screen. Enjoy!
WOO THE DEV ISN'T A make-a-game-then-ditch-it kind of dev! And It's not a buy this premium item and win the game quick kind of game to boot! It's more than i could have imagined...

Shield and Firepower powerups seem to overwrite each other -- not a good choice imho. And agree with uberpenguin, except I think the grammar does matter and the very best games do not go without proofreading. There are so many capable proofreaders out there -- employ them, you'll look better for it.
Unless all the text is one huge "all your base are belong to us" joke.

Agree on coin collection needing to be fixed. Should be based on whole ship and not center pixle. Also, coin magnet seem to work only now and then, or at least it times out when powerups and coins are close to the end of the screen.

i played number 1 it was fun so if this 1 is halve as cool it will be a great game and its 3 times better than number 1

The one thing about this game that irks me is the pause if you click out of the screen. You have to go back and hit continue and your ship immediately goes to your mouse. This sometimes causes you to miss a chance to kill an enemy or costs you a heart. Other than that great game.

It seems like the coin collection uses the same 1-pixel collision that enemy shots do. Coin collection should be based on the whole ship. Nice game otherwise.

Power attack doesn't work with autofire enabled. And I seem to miss a lot of coins, even though they go straight through me.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Coin magnet appears to only attract coins that are far away. Once they get close they stop attracting. Also, rank 3 bullet quantity seems like a step backwards from rank 2.

Just finished the game, this game was a total joke... why? >ZERO DIFFICULTYt get to shot a lot : they are way too weak, also, the boss is ... ridiculous, the final boss kill in 3 seconds?!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Love the game, but please make the magnet stronger (got max) at least so it still works even if the coins are behind you

Alright, a number of things. There are some smaller technical issues like the inability to visit the shop except at a level's end, and the fact that auto-fire stops working when you collect the powerup that turns you into w/e that ship that sprays red orbs is called. On that note, while auto fire is enabled you'll still fire an extra shot every time you click. But technical issues aside, the game was just way too easy. I think I lost, eh, maybe 5 lives over the entire thing, especially since so, so many PUs drop that you're essentially always invincible anyways. Bosses ended up being disappointingly easy while using octocat too; a single rainbow vomit easily does any one of them in. Of course there's also the grammar, but anyone who plays online games should be used to that by this point. The game was still fun, it's just that it ultimately came off unrefined and didn't present enough of a challenge to be rewarding.

Coin collection radius is tiny, and the magnet upgrade is terrible. Even at level 5 I'm still missing a quarter of the coins unless I stop moving. I hate these 'survive for 3 minutes' type level, and the only times I've died are when I've walked away from the machine in absolute boredom.

Plz add autofire, I have a (permanent) elbow injury that makes it impossible for me to keep the mouse button held for long. Great game other than that.
