I just figured out how to keep play!! after you beat last mage press l and click retry.there sent really a point but you can go and beat the hermit now that you are all powerful and stuff

Lol, the only reason why people complain and whine about the life swap thing is either because: You can't combat it. You can't kill your enemy fast enough or because you just lack the brain capacity to find a way around it.
And to those that don't know already. If they have say, 10 high attack bolts and 5 high defensive bolts, and you have only 10 attack bolts with no on defense, 5 of your bolts will attack the 5 shields and the other 5 will knock out 5 of his attacking ones. I find it better to get the High and Low defense special skills, for that very reason.

OMG the life steal thing is the biggest rip I have ever seen in a game so far. It has left me with a real bitter taste in my mouth and makes me hesitant in recommending the game to others. F!@#K MAN!! I get him to like 10 health, then BAM life swap and hes got full and all he needs to do is slip a dirty one on me and im screwed. That is so lame :( But otherwise, this game is the bomb. Apart from the grammar. Damn life swap, damn it to hell!

For those who don't know, the high power mage sent after you (after the guy that tries to bribe you with the mana orb, but before the young mage competition) will actually call assassins on you (which defeat you instantly without a battle). What this tells me is that either 1 or more of the developers know about the exploit you can use to max skill points in the 1 battle by abusing the "give up" button, or 1 or more of the developers are psychic D: . Probably the former.

@king of brains dude.first of all you DO NOT need to be chaos.its possible with great sea.and maybe others.2nd why cant everyone stop with the "keep alive"stuff.if someone cares enough they will LOOK through the comments for a hint or whatever.try using ctrl+f guys.finds whatever you type in on the page.btw in my opinion the best possible combo is getting great sea,and getting te absorb damage special.unless some other clan has it 2.after that ust counter.for exaple that last guy.he des aout 600.just use that next round cast it and you will give about 720 damage back at him.about 48 or similar will hit him.more on anyone else.except maybe the secret boss(the hermit dude)good luck guys! :) and sorry man but its getting annoying having thumbed up comments bock out other comments.no matter how useful.

Ok if u a the fire hill mage you can power up yur special in when u on offense and then do it two time to save for massive fireball and add all the power boost and you have a massive damage ball this wins everytime and i won the game =) 5/5

I like this game very much, but I think that some subplots just got cut off. The Mysterious Hermit says that he plans to inform the other 5 writers of the Book of Mages when you beat him, but... He doesn't. Likewise, there doesn't seem to be a third grave robbing, which would be fun. The Young Mage's Contest doesn't happen again (Which makes the whole 5 years comment sort of a Red Herring) and it would be nice to fight the Ice Land Mage that you can fight again if you beat him.
There are a few bugs in the game. When you click to learn a Special Magic or Higher Magic, you can't go back, which sucks if you were just trying to see what you could choose from. Chaos Desert Mages seem to have a big upper hand, unless you have a huge mana reserve, where you continuously freeze, paralyze, etc. and attack the other player until they're dead.
However, I still think the game was nice. I wish there were more events, but there were still plenty. Great game.

This is a very interesting game, I'll admit. Though my only complaint thus far after playing for half an hour is the grammar. Sorry, but I really don't think "Advices" is a word.

The biggest problem with this game is that you spend the first like 3 years just clicking on Mana Cave and Training Room until actual events start happening. Just start us with 30 points and skip straight to the actual storyline, please!
Battles are similar -- the first 2 rounds are just silly once you get to level 80 or so, because the first shots either side fires get completely absorbed by the other side with no effect. Just start with 20 Special and skip those 2 unnecessary rounds!

always get high attack as your first new spell. The AI emphasizes high attack for some reason and always uses it (very few exceptions)

max poison wave (10 points of poison damage)
then paralyze (subtracts 7 poison debuffs)

Mana leak is pretty much auto win, get all of the defense skills you can and a high mana pool and a decent amount of health. Theres nothing that can beat you, takes a little bit longer to get going then the other mages

MUHAHAHAHA. *my score is low though* e.e awesome game nob. in the next game i would like more elements instead of just fire and water.... ex wind, thunder, earth..., and different attacks, i mean 15 vs 15=>.> different clans should have stronger high attack like last game. great improvement though. :D i look forward to the next.

Poison water is the way to go if you want max damage;
40 damage max of poison damage per turn + bolt damage = soo much damage

Chaos Desert needs a nerf... It's bad enough that they have Additional Bolts, but when combined with Burning, they can FWA-KOOM anything to death. I went Chaos/Black and murdered everybody in my path, including "I want to kill more!" repeatedly until the war ended. Too bad I only made it to rank 5 in the book... meh. Legend (383), Satan (-238).

Yeah there's no balance. There's no way on earth to beat that 30 fireball special because his previous shots also drain your special bar making it impossible to use your own specials against him.
