Still really enjoying the game, but I'm seriously tired of sub-crafting. Lets take a random item like the whirring gizmo. Each time I need one of these, I must go from the engineering menu after selecting the gizmo to the cargo bay menu, craft some screws or tiny thing like that, back to the engineering menu, back down the same path, one thing up from the screws, craft that sub-piece, back to engineering selecting the gizmo again, assemble another sub-piece..... and it seems to go on forever.
-PLEASE- Make items have a base material cost (30 iron, 5 ruby, etc). I doubt I would play a longer version with the crafting system as it is now.

Damn you Okbmd! I've been up 'til 3am every night this weekend!
Seriously, I'm enjoying the heck out of this game. The top 5 commenters already said my own opinion. The only change I would like to see is if the artifacts would be found in order instead of randomly. This would make the videos make more sense, and easier to craft mid-level items.

@tizianotamanini - To get the ending, I think you have to get all the alien artifacts and then play the video for the last one (Ipod) Then go to the destination selection screen and select the red planet.

This is a better graphic, space version of "Utopian Mining", although I don't know which was made first. Don't get the wrong idea, I do love that game so much.

Starting this after finishing Glean 2 is truly painful! The UI is incredibly improved in Glean 2. Great job improving on the first installment guys! :)

That button for automatically crafting the second tier of parts (if you have the resources) would be great. But the game is totally amazing, its been really fun
*Also heads up to newbies: when you get the recipes for "bunch of screws", "series of pipes", and "wireless wires" -make a crap-ton, like at least 50 when you can. you get to make fancy stuff but if you don't there'll be alot of backtracking and object splitting

What would make this better? such games as League of Legends and Dota2 have the ability to click the last upgrade and if you have the lower materials it will auto make the final product. It is a pain having to change bigger or little things for every engineer upgrade/ module/ everything. Would be a nice touch to give us more time digging and less time figuring out what items we have to change what to!! other than that 5/5 better than motherload!

very well made game, but a bit time consuming. Not that its bad, i just didn't see a save function so i was afraid that if i closed the tab i'd lose my hours of work. You even set it up to where you can make a sequel should you so choose. I'd love to see a sequel of this.

So I place a stick of dynamite on top of an otherwise unbreakable device, then move to the square under the device, thinking the dynamite would just create a small circular explosion and break whatever is next to it. But no, it pierces through in a cross shape as if I'm playing Bomberman, and I'm immediately killed.

This is the best game ever... I get to mine, I can upgrade junk, and I get to listen to the sounds of beating drums while I exist as a robit. Absolutely perfect.

would love to play the whole game, but the game runs way to slow on my comp. a lower graphics setting (or something )is needed for those of us without super computers.

To get lava very easy and quick, just drill one square beneath so the droplets hit you, every time you're hit, you'll get a small lava globule.

5/5 it took me like 12-15 hours to finish
I've completed all the objectives, upgraded everything, found all artifacts and... is there some kind of ending I'm not getting triggered?

Loved the game, definitely a 5/5. I see a lot of complaining about the crafting system and at times it found it pretty annoying myself, but let's look at it this way: resources are infinite, time is infinite and lives are infinite, then where is the challenge? The slow process of crafting components to components to components of an upgrade might just be it :). A back button would be nice though. Like if you are in a recipe and you miss a component you click it, go in it, craft it and then click back to get to the previous recipe.
That aside I greatly enjoyed the story...the "humanity" of that little astro-bot is unbelievable :)

John Carbon? The distinctive reference to farscape made me burst out laughing.... And why do you have to have a youtube logo during the message?

great game! i wish the large amethysts would stop giving me the middle finger though. (and more than 10 of every module bonus, and the free fueling/repairs station was more obvious)

AMAZING, Great Game! Fun, engrossing, fantastic. - I like the crafting system and the mechanics. The sounds/music need a touch of work, and the lifter pod effect needs to be blocked under the ship (occasionally you can't refuel due to floating off the fuel/repair depot).
I am looking forward to the ocean-sequel!
+ FOR SEQUEL!
