I like that this game does not work in absolutes (except with the lava). Just because its glacial doesn't mean there are no metals, just not as many. Volcanic doesn't mean no crystals just fewer. I dislike it when I have to leave to go to 3 or 4 different places to get the things I need, so this was great to me.

oh and i 2nd the ppl who would like to see what resources are needed for crafting/upgrading while ur away from the ship. saves having to travel all the way back and try to remember it :P

k this game is awesome, great time consumer, and the upgrades really fuel the ongoing gameplay. 5/5 for sure just a couple things, the end goal isn't so clear (prolly cause i skipped the youtube vids on most everything) but the teleporter, it bleeds over into the door to the ship. ya i should know the difference between space and enter but it does look like an actual glitch.
the only other would be the option to just leave a deposit behind that you can't use. when i start to run out of storage space, i burn off crystals for fuel, only to find out i need a billion of em later lol. maybe a 'drop' option to come pick back up later?
anyways not complaining just some ideas, great simple and relaxing game and again 5/5

Awesome game. Very very fun. Game design rule: Never make a layer craft more than 3 deep. Many of the final items are 5 or six deep. Maybe have on of the engineering boxes be a "Molecular Combiner" that is able to auto-convert all the base materials (lave, Fe, Au) between the various sizes. This would move the crafting back to 4 deep. Then this would get six stars (we'd make Kongregate add one for just this game).

Motherload based? Instant 5. Loads of crafting? +1. Artifact found - the Lightbulb - LOL, +1. Music gets repetitive too soon (subjective) - -1. Anyway highest possible :) Although it's hard to get below overheat point (when it starts damaging your robot) to search for buried artifacts with unmaxed cooling.

just noticed that if your inventory is full and you need repairs, pick up some iron - instant repairs, likewise if you need fuel, pick up any type of gemstone - instant refuel. how cool is that?

this game brings back fond memories of motherload. Awesome game that so far improves on all aspects of the previously mentioned game. all I can say is a great job 5/5

Just like motherload, but a tad more realistic, and less user friendly (http://www.kongregate.com/games/XGenStudios/motherload?acomplete=motherlo)

Certainly a fun game, but I really like the mysterious story line that kinda leaves you asking, "What happened?!?!?" The ending was a little unsatisfying though. A little more clarity would have been nice for that. But still worth finishing!

I just noticed that when I decided to make lots of dynamite it used materials but I only wound up with 10 dynamite. If you can only hold 10, it should let you know you cannot hold any more and stop throwing your resources out the porthole. Better yet, you should be able to carry more than 10 dynamite. On a planet like this one, you need it a lot.

Awesome game have come back four days in a row.... I would add one thing to the game. Anti grav..... lets face it you can travel between stars but have a fuel restriction ? anyway great job on game pls don't quit your day job to go to medical school or something. MAKE MORE GAMES!!!!!

Mixing items is the most useless and tedious part of this game. There is no reason not to include an auto-combine. I am sitting here using low level upgrades to dig because it is so much LESS fun to sit and click a million times to put the parts together over and over. I would like to upgrade, but it feels like punishment...

I apparently managed to repair myself at the exact same time as I died. Now I'm dragging around my death explosions, along with the death message.

Hope we get a sequel to this game,
would like to see multiple sectors, more exploration into the storyline about the myth of organic lifeforms, maybe some additional passive or active threats to our little bot

PLEASE ADD "GENERATE ALL" BUTTON FOR COMPLEX STRUCTURES. SOME DEVICES REQUIRE TOO MANY "GENERATE" ACTIONS FROM A TINY IRON TO A COMPLEX DEVICE... WE WOULD LIKE TO GENERATE A COMPLEX DEVICE WITH ONE BUTTON. PLEASE...PLEASE...PLEASE...

The only thigns this game miss is shop and auto craft. Maybe some kind of materials blocker, which could not allow you to take not needed materials. But its still one of the best flash games i ever saw.

"starcraft overmind voice: we need more minerals. We need more vespane gas. We need more minerals. We need engineering. We need more minerals. We need more armor. We need more minerals. We need more grinding. We need more minerals! We need more grinding for minerals! We need whirring gizmos, wireless wires, gloop thingy, gears of war, ostrich egg, typewriter parts to mine more minerals faster but for it we need more minerals!" Love this game. The grind is just right.

Great game, would of loved kong highscores on things mined (such as gold & titanium or total blocks dug) to keep me playing it longer & would love expansion of deeper ground more upgrades and newer ores! Maybe be fun decorative creations as well to show of my hoards of gold and gems?
I love this genre, (mining for stuff) and have never seen this genre been done well and this one has done it right on!
