expert award is nothing to do with how many lives you lose, just based on score which can be increased by calling all waves early in one go

Alright, so I got the 30 achievements badge in about an hour. Don't know if that's good. But it was easy. All I did was farm the highest levels that I could do expert in (hold down N at the beginning of a level), and then save upgrade points until I could afford a big bunch of one upgrade, since you only pay the price of the last upgrade level. 1st level just required two upgraded basic towers, and a little later I used upgraded fast towers. When my initial money was high enough, I started spamming super towers instead. I got the badge when I was able to complete level 11 on expert.

I don't yet know if it's a good tip, but you save upgrade points by buying more upgrade levels at once. So I started out by grinding mission 1 for a while. It's very easy and fast to get 24 upgrade points by placing two basic towers and spamming all waves at once. Save up a bunch of points and then buy a decent upgrade. I imagine you can probably use that initial advantage to exploit a later level that yields even more upgrade points. And then hopefully you'll shortly have all upgrades.

So who remembers playing this in '10-'11, never completing it, playing it once every three months or so, then forgetting about it for pretty much a whole year then going back and gonna finish it even though that's what you said a couple months/years ago???

You know your game is bad when even at the 3X speed setting it is still too damn slow. Why did this game get badges? And why was one of them put in a Quest? Does Kong hate me?

Oh so the cost of upgrades is miscalculated? IF you have enough for a higher level upgrade you can buy it and the ones below are bought for free, but if you buy them it order you have to pay for each. That's one hell of a bug

Don't play it. Just don't. Unless you desperately want the Yo Dawg 'chieve, don't bother. Slow, unbalanced, unfun. The game is embaressingly easy to just grind through, often needing only one tower to get through a level, the 'chieves are miserably tedious to get, not hard, but tedious, being things like "build 300 towers"...
Just no.

This is one of the most boring Tower Defence games I've ever played. Its extremely slow, there are no interesting or unique mechanics whatsoever, and the tuning is extremely off, resulting in some grinding. Terrible and only played due to the Yo Dawg quest.

It's stupidly hard to get 'expert' scoring. By clicking hitting N a total of 1 second too late on one level, I got within about 10 points. why does it need to be so friggin precise, developers?!

I made the mistake of saving this and Papa's Freezeria as my last games for the Yo Dawg quest. They almost made me quit...

Not bad. I like the 90s-style graphics and the general feel of the game. It's not too difficult to just finish the game - and the first three Achievement Badges can be gotten in an hour or so - but completing 35 missions on Expert is time-consuming and I'm not sure it's actually worth it.

Fast tip... The maths of the developer weren't great and if you save some upgrade points you can buy high lvl upgrades without buying the small ones. For example first upgrade cost 5, second 10 ... if you buy the second you get the first as well (so both for 10).

If you invest a couple points into damage, and a couple into money per kill and put everything else you have into initial prices (mainly this one) and initial money you can pass most levels just by spamming basic towers

im trying 2 do the yo dawg quest thats how i discovred this game and... i like it 4/5 but damn 30 achievments is soooooo hard 2 get and this game dosent show u what u need 2 do 2 get the achievments

Maybe it's just me but for a tower called the "Super Tower" I think it's lacking. Specifically it really needs more range. Currently I find that a fully upgraded Fast tower performs better than a level two Super Tower even though a level two super tower is much more expensive.

The "Donate $3 by Paypal" when you've just gotten slaughtered for the 20th time because you're trying to use TOWERS on a TOWER defense game must be some kind of joke. This "game" is the most unbalanced TD I've ever had the misfortune of suffering through on account of my achievement addiction.
