In mission 3 I was trying to get to the extraction point when an army of ships spawned in on me and killed me instantly. Needs to be fixed.

on mission 3 you must just wait till all enemy wawes has passed (theres like 5 of them) and then sneak frought bottom left corner to the extracion point

10 howitzer defence 20+ fighters (no idea i kept them on build 20 for ages) 20+ interceptors and they still took my planet ,the ammount of firepower thrown at them should have shredded them all but nooooo , also when i tell my units to move and they are fighting why do they go slower and not do anything till they reach their destination ?

You need to fix the group select. When you first start a level it's fine, then after a while it stops letting you select any ships by holding down the left mouse button. It makes the game impossible to play..

I dont understand the stealth mission. When the battle happens, every opening I find, hundreds of random hostile ships will spawn on top of me.

Incredible concept, but the controls are too clunky to offer exciting gameplay. I feel like most of the challenge is clicking stuff fast, and not in either the macro or the micro. 3/5

Hey, and I don't want to restart the whole mission (for stealth for example) when I failed on the second part. Checkpoints, I miss you! :)

1. Don't deselect units when re-dragging (only deselect with hotkey space)
2. Pause button
3. Needs upgrades between missions - sorry, i'm an upgrade fan
4. The howitzer (turret) should prefer to target dropships at all times.
5. Dropships should take some time to capture a planet instead of just suddenly disappearing
6. Shift+click / Shift+drag should add units to the already selected ones.

A easier way to win stage 2.Build a power station and plant first,then build a dropship and capture the netrual planet on the right above.Then develop the mine mainly and dome higher rank plant,fighter(at least 60),repair ship(three is enough)and dropship(ten is enough),interceptor(as many as you can,usually 20).Around 10 mins you can have a great armada with around 100 ships.Then crush enemy's force and the convoy to get the achievement

Mission 3: If the fight begin wait some spawns... than flight down right to spawn point of yellow guys... start fly if they spawn (no enemy spawn). Flight down as possible... rest is easy... good luck guys!

I want to love this game but for now, I can only like it because of the numerous glitches and oversights. For example, I just lost a planet with 50+ ships guarding it to 7 defenseless troop carriers....all because of poor targeting that I can not control. As-is, this game is more of a repetitive grind than it is strategy....3/5 for effort but it's probably closer to a 2.

quickselect menu for different basic formations for selected ships (consider positions of battel and repairships!). and buttons for: behavioir (aggressive, neutral, devensive) behavoir in formaion: agresive (leaving formation to a sertain radius of the main ship (main ship always the biggest, or swuadonleader) (neutral keeps formation defends if formation is attaked, leaves to a close radius). defensive (attaks ships that attak main ship of formation, only if no higher priority ship is attaked, defends himself). well something liek that. and a button for Attak, for Defend (a sertain ship or planet, or formation ) , WAYPOINTS (shift) and PAtrol funktion (a-b fly and destroy). for scouts: escape behavoir (escapes (to last neutrla zone, if attaked) well, time to replay first level.

If you are reaching max... chances are you are still in the beginning of the game and are not attacking enough. You do not need the max troops this game provides to win any of these levels.

for some reason the screen stay's grey for me and the game won't load, so i tried other sites and it worked there, so fix the problem because kong is my favorite site and i don't want to stop playing here for any game!!

The best defense is a large population. Each dropship kills 200 of the population on a planet. When that gets below 0 you lose it. If you can keep the population above say, 1,400 then it will take the enemy 7 dropships to get through.

If you capture the enemy planet before you capture the two neutral planets, then the mission will not end.

decent game can't give more than a 3/5 mostly for the reasons in the top comments. Controls aren't well designed and AI needs some work, but with a good update the game could be a lot better

Very challenging, love the concept, very good overall, but there are a few things that inhibit it's quality, such as the dropships, they ignore all of your men and fly straight to the planet like a kamikaze. The enemy will send dozens, and I don't like how they over power you so easily.

Resuming: It needs fullscreen or more/less zoom button. Needs checkpoints, Rally points, maybe hotkeys, needs bug/glitchs fixes (like deselecting squad when we are moving the map) and those dropships can't just capture a planet. maybe if fighters have priorities, attacking dropships first or something like that...Anyway, it's a good strategy game, has a good story, and it has variated missions. Good Game 5/5 as i look forward to a better sequel.

mission1: i conquered as second planet the enemys planet. as conquered the last (second miners planet) , triggert event to conquer the enemys planet. well, there are no enemies in this sector no more. all is mine. i am king of doomed kingdom with no way out. cntr + C on doomed planet doenst work either. well, if u do strategic game rebyata, consider more than one strategy for triggers (: and yeah: add: CNTR+C for planetes! zoom in out (or zoom out 100%!), ship grouping cntr+1...0 + recall 1..0. selecting diffrent unite type on screen : yxcvb select different unit type on map: alt+yxcvb deselect shift+yxcvb / alt+shift+yxcvb .

Level 3: Part 1, use mini map to avoid detection. Get repair ship and get transport back. Part 2, Get your group in formation and proceed to top right of map transport. Get your group in a tight formation again and proceed down to extraction. Go through mini clip... Then proceed down with extreme caution. As soon as you see the massive wave approaching from east (a trigger when you get to certain area) reverse direction immediately. Wait for the corvettes to pass and proceed down right side of map taking a few stragglers out. Use your allied forces as cannon fodder and slip behind them. Go to bottom of map, and avoiding the corvette again... send all your ships to the extraction with one click. Now deselect troops so you are only controlling attackers and keep clicking around the transport to keep them protecting the transport/cannon fodder until extraction. Works every time.

more on mission 2: place 15ish howitzers half or up to a planet width toward the enemy in a stack. put a stack of 5ish repair behind them. and a stack of 8ish interceptors behind those and you. build population on your planets as a buffer. now ur defended.
make 3 stacks like this to attack as well. howitzers, repair, interceptors. approach the enemy stepping slow as you get near so that you draw and zap most of its fighters and interceptors before its howitzers get yours. unfog the attack lanes and you won't get surprised. ai is persistent, not creative when targeting, eg you can move up troops. learn when the 1 time convoy comes and restart if you loose the 2nd planet. this got me m2 in just under an hr.

Mission 3:
After u find the second HVU move downwards. When u arrive at the third square ur friendly forces will start to attack. Quickly, move to the far right side. make sure the HVU is at the end of ur collum, all figthers are up front, some are a bit left. Move forward one square by another. This is essential. Some enemys will spawn directly infront of u, a bit to the left. If u set ur fleets up in the proper way, ur fighter will attack the incoming enemys. Make sure u don't move, otherwise the fighters won't attack. U gonna loose some fighters, but the HVU should stay untouched. Continue to move downward at the far right side. Watch out for the enemy radar. A friendly force will spawn at the bottom left, and start attacking the enemy. Carefully make ur way to the southeast corner and continue moving to the evac point. Make sure u stay at the far bottom of the map while moving untill u r right behind the evac point.

Also, defensive turrets should prioritize based on closest enemy, not the first enemy they attacked. It's a cheap tactic to send one wing if light fighters, while their drop ships slide right in unobstructed.

To beat level 6: Step 1: Build 3 troop carriers and send them to the 3 planets with a 1/3 of your original attack force. While they are sending, build a power plant and then a lab. Research Geology and Energy upgrades. Build intercepters/heavy fighters and fighters. Don't bother with defensive ones as they are too slow. Now when your transports take the 3 planets build a power station on them and then build a plant. Build a few fighters while upgrading power station again. By the time you build one mine or so you should be able to get purifying facilities. Switch to that and fusion centers as they get upgraded. Now keep sending the ships your original planet built out to defend the planets in 1/3's. When your resources start getting low on that planet start making fusions and purifying facilities. Be sure to upgrade society too to build towers for population for when transports get by and in mean time build a few bio domes.

One of the best RTS's I've ever played, it is quite difficult, but requires thought and time, rushing at the enemy base will get you killed, and sitting back and relaxing will simply allow the enemy to overpower you eventually. An excellent RTS, I hope to see more. However the select and de-select mechanics are tedious, you do get used to them, but it can be annoying at times, still. It is one of the best flash games I have ever played. 8.5/10

could be 5/5, but it is not ballanced enough. stage5 is super tough, and it is f'ed up if i loose after building for 20min only because 1 ship with troops lands on my planet. should make different difficulty levels for every stage.

and for lvl 2 get the middle planet, spam stuff there and swarm dropships with interceptors. You want nothing but repair ships, dropships, howitzers, and interceptors.

an awesome game with the best graphics i ever saw for a flash game, interesting but short, it would be amazing if the dev added a multiplayer too ! that would be my best day, or maybe begin able to make the special ships like kronos battleship and the recon ship, maybe a little bit more maps and missions, its really unlucky that this game is short :/

It's interesting how the AI reacts to you building fighters and sending them at them off-screen, since fighters and scouts are the only units able to deal damage off-screen. Unless I'm missing something.
