Pretty smooth game, I like the mechanic, satisfying too. I'm fond of tripods, but the purist in me wishes you hadn't gone for the cheesy designs from the movie (because it was a terrible movie, mostly). Still, it was good fun to wade through the different enemy types, which were nicely varied. I think my favourite part is the music, very epic, ominous and tanky. Is there anywhere I could get the track just for personal atmospheric use?

anyone else annoyed by the EMP tank not huring the tanks or helicopters, only you? Seems humans have EMP protected helicopters... yay for us :)

It's a pretty cool game, but the difficulty ladder could be a bit smoother. All levels except 10 and 15 were pretty easy.

This game is strikingly similar to a game called Giant Walking Eye that came out a month ago. If you like this game you should check it out.

A good game so fare, with plenty of graphic toggles to help this *INFERNAL MACHINE* of a computer along. Good music, good graphics as well. The only problem I have with it is the shields, every time they get knocked down i have to wait for (roughly speaking) 10-30 seconds of hull damaging horror before they recharge, and if I'm being hit when they come back online, they go RIGHT BACK DOWN. They might as well have stayed offline. But so far that is my only problem with it.

lol used all stuff in cool menu did lvl 15 in 35 seconds, just let all the truvks crash into me didnt even lose any armour =D

Great game, more enemies type and more bosses will be even better
one tip for the last boss: you can repel his laser by your ray

How is it a war if the tripod is pretty much invincible, destroys everything in it's path with a big laser, because to me thats gods way of saying screw you humans. i'm joking of course but still, think about it.

Well atleast they didn't get our laser cannon and built it into one giant ion cannon that could possibly save Earth from us.

I Think there is a bug,When I reached day 9 and and I lost,i try to click the restart button but still it just keep showing the "Deafeat" page,is it a bug??

I don't care what anyone says... I love that alien roar from the Tripods. I hated the updated film (I'm a sucker for the original film and Jeff Wayne's version of War of the Worlds), but that roar is just so AWESOME
