Does not seem like this game has much depth, click on things that appear, choose an upgrade here and there, that's about it.

"Sir, we have a massive tripod in the area that is annihilating cities! But it can only attack from the front"
"Attack it from the front, private"
"But sir, the back has no weapons..."
"I said the front private, now move!"

The recharge should fill a full shield bar and and ray bar instead of giving just a minimal amount. Otherwise you constantly are "recharging " your shields and "rays" if you accidentally deplete it.

i never knew the military would just send there soldiers to do a suicide charge at a big thing shooting lazers and destroying everything.

You know, if humans actually strike back in the next part of the game, ir would be interesting. Not because I like the idea, but because there was a book, published as a sequel to H.G Wells' book, where Thomas Edison invented some sort of antigravity machine, and humans went to Mars to retaliate.
Now, about the game? Average, I think, it's not original, nor creative, also kinda repetitive, but I somehow like this type of game, because you need a strategy, to know which enemies to shoot first, and so. 3/5, then.

"General, they can destroy 2 EMP tanks even if we send them together! Shouldn't we send more?" "No! Send 2 at a time, then give them a time to recover, then send another 2! Don't ever send more than 2 at a time!"

Good game. I'm sure level 10 is unbalanced, though. I basically had to redo level 9 about a dozen times to get enough upgrades to get past it.

Quite enjoyable...BTW you are playing a tripod from War of the Worlds not a reaper from ME. Although the similarity is interesting now that it's been brought up. I love going back to earlier levels with upgraded weapons and kicking butt.

general, we must assault with our useless infantry, and in small waves too. it's a much better way to spend our limited resource than to build multiple 1k35s

Ok, humans developed an irritating shield jamming device. Imagine if one day they find out how to attack from the back.

Not a bad game. Nice and simple. Not to mention that the extras you get from unlocking all of the achievements are pretty fun. 4/5

So... my race could develop a tripod, heat emission rays, neutronium armor, but we couldn't manufacture a shield that could resist a simple gunpowder acceleration gun?

level 10 is very counterintuitive, since how fast new waves show up depends on the boss health. so if you try to kill the boss as fast as possible, you're screwed. on the other hand, if you take your time, and just destroy units and his rockets, trying to damage him as little as possible, it'll be a piece of cake.

To new players : Ray Damage is the most important skill in the whole game. Upgrade it as soon as possible, or else you will suffer hell in the first levels.

@Boneyboy; why do you say that this game is so good? It's fun, and i enjoyed it. It's a good game. But it's not as good as you make it sound. And what junky games are you referring to?

this does makes me feel like a reaper from mass effect not only because you're a huge machine slaughtering the human kind but it looks a little bit like one and it also makes the same noise.

I wish there was a super weapon, for 10k credits or something that makes you deal insane amounts of damage... just so you can feel awesome.
