@Rick, you can work out how to get the fewest moves before moving. Basically, you want to avoid moving the same piece multiple times, as much as possible, and you want to not move pieces that are already in slots. One useful tactic: if you have to move a piece that's already in place, use one that's already in a middle slot. That way, when you go to put it back, it'll already have the two neighbors without you having to make an extra move.

I just love this! The music is superb, the game is simple and relaxing, not too short, not too long and even the name is simple. I mean COINS! you don't even know what you are getting into until you play it.

So, there's no rhyme or reason, you just guess until you get it right? And then replay the level to get the moves in the right order? Hmmm, I suppose it's a game, but not fun.

Briniel, I was playing this game and got to level 17, closed browser on accident, went to go back to game and it froze on load screen :(

A great game to play when you need to get those synapses firing, but rather easy. Maybe the mobile version will provide more of a challenge?...

@DrVoltage1: what onefifth said only applies if you have picked up a coin but have not put it down yet. I was confused, too, but that's what I think he meant.
@animeknight1994: worked great for me. are you sure you're following the placement rules? just saying, cause some people seem to have problems with them (or skip them)
@onefifth: oh noes! I finally figured out how to solve level 40 in a frantic coins-and-paper approach during a boring class at university and now I'm back home to enter the solution ingame, but the game won't load anymore D: It's stuck on the loading screen...
Thanks for doing so many replies! However your loading issue sounds not good at all! If you don't end up working it out on your own somehow send me a bug report and I'll see if I can replicate what went wrong.

I wish the graphics were less washed out. I find it somewhat hard to see, and I don't quite see the point of them being so pale. But, interesting concept. Not my favorite, but clever.
Stylistic choices, I don't really have a better reason :P It's funny how different it looks very on different monitors too. I appreciate the feedback :)

It would be fun game if it woul work rigt. I put the coin over the marking. every marking marking there is left in the game. THe coin absolutelyrefuses to go ont the matmost of hte time (fr my game)
If you pick up a coin, and put it back before placing it anywhere else, it should not count the move. If you put it somewhere and then move it back it will.
I have learned my lesson about undo buttons! I'm sorry!

wtf this game makes no sense to me. Coins must be moved in some specific order and ornament somehow shows that. I have no time or patience to figure that crap out. Interesting idea though. 3/5

Very enjoyable puzzle game. One small thing I especially liked was how the levels really had an order between them, with mostly just the coffee stains changed between the solution of one level and the initial state of the next.

Amazing game, I had quite the hard time in the 40th level and i dind't quite grasp the initial rules till level 8 (even tough, not even i know how, i aced all level till 7 before founding out)

Beautiful little game with great art and music, i love how minimalistic it is. Could be longer and maybe a bit harder.

Great game, I love how the rules are so simple (if you actually read them ;) ) and yet the resulting puzzles can be really challeging. I'm stuck on 40 right now... but I'll ace that one too (someday...)
and +1 for the undo button request, because sometimes it seems like I could solve it if I changed my last move but I can't remember how I got there XD

I aced the first 39 levels in 30 minutes, but tried in more than 1 hour with the last level. I think it is impossible to ace it.

Paul, some people have their own music they like to listen to while playing games. On a different note, what's the purpose of having a restart button when you can just click on the level and it restarts automatically? An undo button would be much more useful.

Dimnot ever heard of turn off your speakers? That's what i hate about people that say ugh no mute button 1/5....Love the game 5/5

Great game! Although, I would prefer the coins and the corresponding areas to be very different colours, like red and blue, so I can tell apart the target areas more easily at a glance. Maybe it would take a little away from the aesthetic value, but it would improve the gameplay.
I agree. There was a lot of struggle with the balance, keeping the game looking "pretty" while keeping things distinguishable. In the end I think we should have changed the visual style more to fix this. Thanks for playing!
