So this is a prequel to A Grain of Truth? But it's listed as a different developer? Are there any more out there from this series or is this it? I wish there was some way that these two games were marked as being in the same series. I only found this one by pure accident.

this reminds me of sge (school for good and evil) and i really like the plotline here its like everyone is connected..everything. this game is gonna be one of my faves

This was the very first game I played ok Kongregate. It still is one of my favorites. Looking forward to the next installment in the Big Tree Universe, or indeed Pt 2 in the Trader of Stories series!

Great point-and-click adventure, but there seem to be a couple bugs with things disappearing when you go trough things quickly, and achievements not working propperly. I brewed the potion to pour in the lake, but I clicked away before the flask filling animation finished and it didn't give me the potion, stopping me from progressing any further. Same happened with the drunk guy dissappearing after I got his hair and clicked on the room where you can buy the wine bottle.
Also, once I made a third game file because of these issues, and completed the game, Kongregate doesn't give me the achievement. Clicking the finished save file is no good either, because you are left without the wheel and can't finish the game "again" to try get the achievement to work.
I loved the game though, these are just some unintentional issues that make it a bit annoying and tedious to complete.

Thank you to the Rudowski Brothers for this wonderful story... Just remember to ask every single person you meet about Derrida because that is how you will find every single piece of the puzzle before you can complete the game. I ready love the Trader of Stories Series... simply mysterious and excellent!

Great game, I absolutely loved the story and artwork. The sequel´s are great too, I´m looking foreward to play more of your games. It took a while to reed 'Myosotis' correctly, I always read 'Myositis', the medical term for a muscle inflammation :)

The mechanics of this game are kind of broken. If you click away too quickly while trying to use items the item disappears and you have no way of getting it back or using it again and if you do things out of order there's no way of completing the game. I've had to restart the game twice now because of these things. A little broken, but the art style is really cool and I like the story.

Any idea why the badge wouldn't pop? the description says just the story is needed. I finished the game and did not get it? Any thoughts?

Some games will have a "Game Bug" option under the Game tab in the box on the right, underneath ratings. It's useful for reporting errors, such as not receiving a badge. But because this game has none, players are kind of screwed.

Great game! Only gripe I had was a managed to glitch it and had to restart! I accidentally left the room while filling my potion bottle, and so the result was no item in my inventory and no way to get it again :(

Two things people seem to agree on, It's a beautiful game that everyone wants the sequal to, and not a lot of people who complete the game are getting the badge.

First I rated it five stars then changed it to three because I was very disappointed that I did not get the badge I was promised.

So is there a way to mute the music? It's nice and all but hearing the same repetitive thing can get really annoying incredibly fast.

So after buying the recipes and casting the spells you can sell the recipes back to the trader... for the same price you bought them. I wonder how does this guy make profit

Amazing game! The story, the art, the music too! The badge seem to be broken though, i've seen others comment that too. If you didn't get the badge either, don't hesitate to subbmit a "report missing achivment". It won't be fixed if no one knows it's brooken:)
