if ur troops would move like u tell them to it would be 5/5 game but they dont its rather luckbased and u need an average of 4 commands to tell them what to do

Absolutely amazing game. I agree that the auto-lock should be less invasive, but overall astounding. A map editor would also be great. I love this genre, and Pixel Legions tops every game I've ever played in it.

Middle game-After the enemies fight it out, and one side has one army left, flank it on both sides. Send 1 to 2 large groups on each side, doesn't matter if you time them at the same time or wait for one side to arrive before sending the other.
End game-Eventually, the other side will either fight it out or not, doesn't matter. Just send all your units at every possible angle to annihilate them. Then no worries about being caught off guard. Keep sending the units spawned, and victory is guaranteed.

The teleporter was easy enough to work out, but what is this flashy thing in Long Live The King, eh? Decoration? A strengthener? A weakener? Should I be guarding it? Should I be running away from it screaming? An in-game encyclopedia would be helpful.

Only way you could improve this is to make a multiplayer version. I woulnd't change anything but that-it's epic as it is. 5/5

I love it. I don't need upgrades - they're freakin' pixels! They're simple by definition. And the controls are simple and great. This isn't going to be Warcraft3, this is a tight little game. If there was a pretty way to handle scrolling, maybe with arrow keys, that might be ok. Just don't clutter up the screen. It looks so elegant right now!

An extremely midiocre game that;s really unintuitive to use. Why do I continually need to re order my troops to move or attack when they decide to do something different or are interrupted? Why can I never click on my base when there are troops, surely the base being what's keeping you alive takes priority and therefore should be on top. Why am I instagibbed by bombing runs that my main base is too slow to move away from? And why are people asking for Veterancy? Veterancy is bad and always will be. I've played one decent game with veterancy, and the Veterancy *always* breaks it by bringing in imba units, so no, no veterancy and a control system that works please.
Also, make some of the strategically bad situations negative. I'm constantly out producing and killing my opponenets without trying. Even on the king of the hill level when you are *in the middle* and therefore are most vunerable, yet still that mission was easy.

Fun game overall, +3 instead of +5 though as the scrolling levels are horrible. As mentioned before, the response is slow, and the execution when trying to flank or attack multiple enemies is difficult due to the scrolling alone. A bigger box, or zoomed out view would be much better than scrolling on a small flash game.

Doesn't work for me all of a sudden, need to enter my name, but clicking submit doesn't do a thing. And clicking close doens't work either (which is grayed out a bit, so maybe that's on purpose...).
Still, unable to play the game...

Please dont put in all the stuff that is mentioned by quakezero it would change the game into the regular strategy game. Now its more an action game than strategy, and thats great you have to be able keep an eye on different battles and stop troops with the auto lock so you can come from behind and pwn the base. Lazy people just dont wanna pay attention to a "strategy game" and they cant handle doing more than one thing at one time. :( You HAVE to speed up the map scrolling its just sooo slow.

The enemies in stage 13 have a tendency to "escape" to the edge of the map, where they continue to produce units, but can't be targetted...

this is a awesome strategy game. there is only one problem, the units need to stay put and not chase other enemies back to their bases. Also this has alot of potential as a series, things that could be added are: MULTIPLAYER, a bar at the bottom with different portions that are different colors to see who has the most units, A way to select multiple units, Buildings that give you bonuses or help protect your base, A zoom out feature, and a way to make your own maps. Anyways, this is one of the best games in a while and it gets a 11/10 from me

Also about QuakeZero's demand to get rid of the auto lock : Imagine the game without it. You would need to tell every group to attack another group. Without the auto lock this game would suck. But this game WOULD be better if your groups kept on going where you told them to after a battle.

What a fun strategy game that really gets you hooked, I haven't yelled at my units so much since Total Annihilation (go AROUND the tree...)
Reason, the units are super bloodthirsty and go after anything, also the cpu is really easy to read.
If you do make a sequel, there are some really good comments out there.

Great game 5/5!!! I disagree with many people who think that there should be a select all button. That would make the game much less about micromanagement and 'fast paced tactical action' (which is awesome). It would also make the game far easier as you could just select all your units and attack and as long as you had more units than them you would win. The game-play is perfect! i cannot stress this enough. It's simple (no upgrades!) and yet so many different tactics to employ =D The only improvements that i would recommend would be more game modes (King of the hill anyone?), and maybe a difficulty setting, for those of us who like things more difficult. Also, a mutiplayer mode and map editor would both be hugely popular though i think you can leave those 'till the sequel =] Amazing game so far! keep on developing!

Very solid game concept, but the best strategy often involves amassing a large amount of pixels to overwhelm an opponent. Unfortunately, this means using lots and lots and lots of clicks and drags to move your entire pack. The game absolutely needs a way to select all pixels "around" your cursor.
