Ran into an interesting glitch. For some reason I stopped moving along with the background, but the enemy waves already out kept coming. I kept shooting and every ship I killed just froze in front of me. I ended up with a line of ships in front of me and kept shooting them for multiplier and score. Right now my multiplier is about 25,000 and keeps increasing. The score goes up to about 2.2 billion, then decreases by the amount it should increase back to zero, then back up, in a never ending cycle. I can pause, but unpausing just goes back to the glitch. Anyway, entertaining, but I'm gonna restart...

... in other news, a ship has been sighted flying over seethrough bay. Do not make contact, he has been known to destroy innocent aviators aircraft and even ships at least 5 times his size.

@moonlightaffairs the blue bar right next to your life bar is the "Tension Bar". it fills when your ship is directly next to flying bullets without getting hit. whenever its filled to the top, your multiplier gets 1 higher and the bar empties. also this bar can be used with the "Adaptive Weapon" Card which makes it make your weapons stronger when its full.

I'm not sure if my computer is that much of a potato, but I can't play this game without tons of lag, even on the lowest settings. Oddly enough, Frantic 3 doesn't lag for me, but this version does. Not sure if it's just me, but just in case it isn't, I figured I'd comment.

Im finding a strange FPS drop. when you click off the game and onto it. the frames return to what the game says, but for some reason the longer i sit on the game the more frames I lose even though I allegidly have 30.

This is the game where you are busy looking at yourself rather than enemies because you have to avoid bullets flowing all over the screen.

If you haven't got Kamikaze yet, here are the top 3 comments, fused into 1 big tutorial. First, collect up to 55k. 55k should get you everything you need, but if you dont have that, for example 45k, just dont buy Commander and Kamikaze. Max out Shuriken and Laser because theyre default on the Fast Ship (last ship, definitely needed here). While avoiding, your wingmen will get you points and that way you will get the badge.

A tip for getting the Feat Frantic Badge, or anything in the game at all really: You can change the background to black, and there are options to make the enemy bullets more visible in the options menu. It makes it much much easier to see and avoid the bullets with a black background. Plus it's a lot less harsh on your eyes. And yea, I want a Frantic 3 also but Polymerrrabbit seems to have vanished. His blog hasn't been updated in about 3 years now.

To get combos you need to kill enemies in quick succession. Easiest way to get the 70-combo feat is to do the third episode on about medium, and max out electric aura wingmen. On the last level there's a sequence where enemies enter and leave to make two square shapes worth of ships. When that happens, lodge yourself just left of the bottom middle, in the rightmost corner of the left box. Your wingmen will tear through most of them. Then use your special attack to devastate everything that's left all at once. Enemies killed by specials DO count towards combos. Do this and you'll get a 100+ combo without much difficulty.

...I wonder why that square zone damaging wingmen always says it does untold damage.
But when I use it, it takes several seconds to kill a weak enemy. I really recommend something else.

Mute is in the options, whereas you could turn the music down or off completely. Same for the FX. And other cool options for the game (if you bothered to look) so as the Developer decided to make the game field uncrowded for us, the players and more professional looking.

Cool game! Now we just need bullets that shoot bullets that shoot bullets that shoot bullets, as well as power ups that shoot bullets that shoot bullets and finally coins that shoot bullets that shoot bullets that shoot- Well you get the idea. I'm also thinking a massive laser gridlock should appear for some of the bosses, forcing the player into certain patterns as they try to dodge. Also, the specials are really nerfed when it comes to bosses, perhaps add a boss resistance pierce multiplier? Otherwise I love this! :D
