@EmperorClass
No offense, but you must suck if you can't pass those thieves in the mines. Don't blame Pseudolonewolf for making that part very EASY if you suck.

I thought it sounded familiar.... i was watching TV and i heard someone mention an alien race called "The Annunaki", and all i can think to myself is, "well.... That sounds really familiar". Thanks again discovery channel.

'tis a pretty awesome game, but some points about the UI confuse me. Why is it that you cannot click menu items to jump around? When grabbing inventory items to use them with the mouse, it makes sense to make the rest of the menu UI mouse accessible also.

There aren't any words for this. It is one of the best RPGs I have ever played. Please continue making awesome games pseodolonewolf.

Probably the best online flash game I've ever played. I love that it is similar to the old snes games, and that it is driven by the story, unlike most modern games that are driven by graphics and often lack in the same level of power in the story.
Also the only flash game that's prompted me to get out my old snes emulators ;)
Thank you for the hours of entertainment, I hope you continue to give us such excellent games

Two things:
1. Pressing "Z" will give you points on passive skill faster
2. After you defeat the Canonia Shaman go back into the Tainted Grotto head back to were you beat her. there's a skeleton wearing a GeoJacket. GeoJacket makes you absorb Earth and Arcane Catalyst heals you instead.
keep going Pseudolonewolf +up to keep this info alive

In case someone was having trouble with it, the way to get the four Trilobite Keys are as followed.(You find them in the order I, IV, II/III)
KEY 1. Found in a Bone Pile in the Tainted Grotto.(Use Your Map to locate it.)
KEY 2. During the Second Invasion in Canonia it will be dropped by Zombies.(Might be random, I got it the second time I cleared the town)
KEY 3. After Defeating Moric the first time during the first invasion in Goznor, go back to the Catacombs(with your whole party)where you found Moric and continue further into the dungeon. The Key is found in a Coffin(Chest), once again use your map to find it.
KEY 4. Spare the Thieve's(Gope) Life During the First Mission.(Later he'll be in the 'INN" in your hometown(Goznor), during the second Invasion, where he will give you the IV Key)

Uff, finally realized, that you can move the cursor to the right when using "Heal". That way the whole team gets picked which was super helpful against the shaman

So many good references and easter eggs in this game...I just met two guards named Mercutio and Tybalt (Romeo and Juliet)

@pacaricabaubau: check your map. Follow it, despite those things called "walls." (Note: this is more frequent in the third game, so check your map often.)

"Ganging up on me hey? That isn't very honourable or noble of you."
You attacked me with atleast 10 bandits! You have no right to say that!

@abc123takeonme - Yes, you CAN use your saves from Chapter 1. However, if these saves were made before the update (as explained on the beginning screen when you load the game), then you will have to start over. This really isn't a problem as Chapter 1 takes about 45 minutes to complete.

@ Cikuto: The Hidden Arena is in the hidden trilobite city of Cambria. To get there you will need the four trilobite keys; they are:
In a hidden chest in the Tainted Grotto (use your map);
Dropped by a zombie in Canonia:
Found in Social Foxs tomb;
and Gope (The bandit you had the choice wether or not to kill in the Gem Mines) will give you this one if you talk to him in the Goznof Inn IF you spared him. If you killed him, Tough.

5/5, so much time and thought must have been put into this game, theres so much creativity in the way things are structured, etc. The plot really is an attention grabber, and the humor in this game is really well placed. I also liked the way skills are used and mastered. All in all this is probably the best series of flash rpg's ever made.

I'm hooked on this series! When I was younger, I was a big fan of the gameboy pokemon games, particularly silver and red, but then I got older, they added a ridiculous amount of new pokemon (robots nintendo, really?!?), and there was no new fun to be found. And then Mardek RPG comes along, very nostalgic, yet refreshing, and always fun. I've never found the need to repeatedly train my heroes, the enemies progress at a perfect rate, and the real key to success in this game is a good strategy. Perfect game, 5/5. keep em coming pseudolonewolf!

My most favourite series of flash game of all time, definitely. So addicting, so fun, and the storyline is just compelling.

I want to increase the size that the game's displayed at, but apparently I can't specify dimensions (and editing the dimensions of the actual game itself would be too hard, since much of the code depends on the current ones). All I can do about that is request that Kongregate add the ability to choose your own width and height for your games.
(And it's sort of 'depressing' how people are so against READING these days... Requires too much thought and an attention span, I suppose. This is an RPG made for people like me who prefer plot and lengthy dialogue over action, and if you don't like that... well. Not everything can please everyone!)

This game (and every other one in the series) is hilarious (hilarious besides everything else in this game that makes it simply amazing). From messing with cliches to oaths (such as "He thinks he's YALORT's Gift to Women!" and referring to EVERY ONE of the innumerable deities in this game "Gods, you deserve to be in prison!"), this game deserves 5/5 just for epic laughs that I got while playing. It also deserves 5/5 for storyline and the perfect amount of twists and unexpected turns, 5/5 for the character developments, 5/5 for the music and sounds, and 5/5 for anything I managed to miss! Love it!

Thumbs up for Mardek his undeveloped brain!

Zach just got hit with Silence and laughed... or maybe he was coughing. It's hard to tell because nobody could hear it.

I have been playing this game for 8 years now and I cannot seem to get tired of it. The best pixel RPG game I have ever played.
