@billcat I'm a completionist. leave me alone. I've even got the villager wear from the first chapter, and every piece of equipment from chapter 2.

Sun axe ain't worth the effort. It has no skills attached that aren't on another axe, or maybe it has no skills attached. I forget. Just know it isn't worth excessive grinding. And you'll soon get an axe with better damage. The Mahogany staff from Saul's place is worth the effort of grinding to get - dropped by Posh Zombie. Not to be confused with Posh Spice, though their facial expressions sometimes look alike.
You'll also get a chance at a sun axe in the Arena.

I named my save file deugan. I regret this now, as he died in chapter 2, even though all my characters were level 25 and I could've beaten dracelon in 2 minutes. Dammit. AH WELL R.I.P. DEUGAN. Oh but I've played this game before, so I know that currently, as I start playing this chapter, he is in the water temple with Emela!

It would be nice if you could put back the crystals. I took the crystal from the water temple, but I hadn't killed 100 monsters yet for the chalice. I had saved immediately after getting the crystal, so I can only restart the entire game if I want to be able to complete the optional dungeons :(

I guess I can see why Pseudo might want to restart the series...It'll never be the same, to me, though. The new designs for his characters...they just don't feel as *real* anymore

Sammurott, "fans" like you are one of the reasons he went on hiatus. He's rebooting the series, because before, it was a passion project, but now, his interests have changed. If he continued to work on this, it'd only take longer, and it's quality would drop. Believe me, it's better this way. From what I can tell, not too much is changing beyond the battle system, and the look. However, nothings set in stone. I doubt though that Pseudo will change the characters too much, as in his blogs, you can tell he's just as attached to his creations as he is. Try to have faith in Pseudo, he's trying his best, and getting steamed while writing an angry message to him will do nothing but further ruin your Mardek dreams. If you need closure, either write a bloody fan fiction, or play the next games.

Pseudo is being so ridiculous about this series...when you make a wildly successful game that generates millions of players, devoted fans, and big sponsorships, you don't discontinue reinvent it as something completely different. With what Pseudo is planning to do with the series, it basically won't even be Mardek any more. +1 FOR MARDEK 4!!!

To the MARDEK fans who are awaiting a new installment, I bear good news: Pseudolonewolf is currently remaking the game! It will start over, in a new world and everything— the first two episodes (which correspond to what is currently Chapter 1) will likely be released sometime in the following November.

Really not sure about this reboot, a lot of the ideas seem pretty wacky. Still looking forward to it, as Mardek is (imo) the greatest flash game ever, one of the best games ever created at all infact, though after following pseudo's website for a few years now and reading about all his issues I'm not sure he's a guy to place much faith in.

You cant do Mardek 4 like continue, you will use too much spells, will be too higher level. That is why will be Mardek 4 "different".

Everyone listen, PSEUDOLONEWOLF is about to remake the Mardek series, there's no point completing this version anymore, there no more Mardek 4 for this....go to Fighunter if you don't believe me... this is the end of this mardek series.. a new one is coming but it'sgonna no be the same like this one.... so yeah, peace out :/.

Dude, you seriously should go into professional game development. Your enemy models, patterns, intricacy of plot and gameplay make this a highly valuable game.

I've never thought that i'll see a game that'll make me feel BAD for defeating the final boss. Not only Qualna seemed like a good guy, and his death was unnecessary, but also Rohoph acted like a**hole breaking his promise. Makes me think if Rohoph's rebellion wasn't actually part of Crystal's plan. And despite being on Belfan he seems more and more affected by the crystal, being fanatic in his quest to destroy it. Of course all these twists made the game even greater, and i can't wait for chapter 4. and 5 and on as well.

This is still probably the best RPG I've ever played. I love that you can transfer your character from different chapters. You can also make backups of your saves by going to C:\Users\[name]\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#SharedObjects\ABWG2DV8\chat.kongregate.com and copying all the Mardek files.

Man this game never gets old! I don't think there is good Flash RPGs like this out there (Sorry for bad spelling, english is not my primal language)
