Haha, this reminds me of the ol' hard games, those like Super Mario (Which is freakingly hard for me now, since i had not played it since the SNES.)
and Metroid. Good job there, Pseudo!

Wow. Even the tutorial was hard. But it was also rather funny... "WHAT? HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT? WHO'S CONTROLLING ME? I WON'T LET ANYONE CONTROL ME!!" Still stuck on the minimal ladder jumping.

I played straight off the dot on Intermediate, and let me tell you it is the most gratifying hour I have ever had. A few tips for the final boss if you're not playing on the wuss setting: It is possible to beat him without getting hit. I did it when I figured it out. You just need to time your jumps. Shoot when he shoots, then jump, then shoot and he'll get hit by your bullet in the air if you time it properly. When he starts shooting all over the level, don't jump everywhere or you'll be streaking through a warzone. Same goes for when you're dodging most of the bullets, actually. You need to stay still and focus. Time your jumps and you'll be all good. + so others can see.

You know how some folks complain that modern games aren't as hard as older games? Well this beautiful piece of work doesn't only implement the graphics of the past. 5/5 Stars.

Glitch: got to the first boss, but every time he killed me I flashed blue and red, as if about to die, then stopped, recovered all heath, and stayed alive. Happened 10 times in a row. Still happening as I type this.

Old games are fine, but I found the controls of this one a bit clunky, maybe because of the lag? While I kind of liked the main character, the scenery was very bleak -- robots and spikes? -- and hence, the gameplay wasn't very inspiring either. It may be because I never had a NES, but the game just didn't feel right. Check out Draconus, Rick Dangerous or Blackthorn for how a platform game should L&F right.

I didn't expect to like this (the preview image made me think it was just a rocket-blaster game) but I do. It was pretty hard even on easy level but I suppose I should have expected that, eheh. What kept me around was the brilliant and hilarious dialogue.

I'd like to note that difficulty doesn't necessarily make a better game, although it can (again, megaman proves this) but my personal favourite nes game, kirby's dream land, is undeniably easy, however I really enjoyed the gameplay variety it provided with the different powers. So, there can be good and bad difficulty, and this game, unfortunately, falls into the latter.

This game is to put it bluntly, a stupid at harking back to the nes days of megaman and ghosts and goblins, however unlike those two games both of which I adore (escecpially megaman) this game's difficulty is fake, and what I mean by that is that the only reason I have trouble beating it is the endless pauses and lag I encounter, and otherwise easy game. Is anyone other getting this lag? I've tried refreshing several times to no avail, and no other comments make note of it, so i'm rather curious. Oh, and the protentious comments here are quite irritating, as many nes qeren't difficult by design and the only reason they weren't as easy as modern games was by the their terrible quality. For every megaman, there was inevitably several more peices fof terrible shovelware. Finally,

This game reminds me so much of my childhood. I may be a 90s baby but I still grew up with nes and snes. I played the old teenage mutant ninja turtles all the time. I glad someone still makes these types of games.

I finally got the S rank, but does anyone know how to beat the boss with the sword only? I can't seem to get that achievement as the sword doesn't hit him. :(

Really nice game. Shame I can't seem to get it to work without pressed keys seeming to "freeze" in te pressed state or just not responding entirely. I even set memory use to unlimited, reset my coputer and have only this running beyond typical windows operating stuff. Still trudging away at it on Beginner mode but I doubt I'll be abe to play it on the harder dificulties with these problems.

I'm 19, and grew up playing games on an N64. Had a few games that I literally couldn't play cause they were "so hard" to me back then, so I would watch my mom play and then try to do it. I remember the feeling of accomplishment when I first started being able to do good in those games. I think there need to be more games like this one, and while I agree it is hard, I don't get as mad at this game as I used to get at those old games (oh I've also played some NES and SNES games too so I know about how hard those can be). Maybe it's because I'm not that far in it or maybe playing Demon Souls and Dark Souls (2 of the hardest games of this era I'm gonna say) improved my patience, anyway great game like always, keep up the good work.

Thank you for reminding me why I hate platformers. Didn't even get out of the tutorial because of that stupid ladder spike crap.

There is another Raider game Psuedo made but never fully completed(instead making these 2). It's also done in a different style(similar to Metroid), but for those interested anyway, here's a link: http://www.fighunter.com/?page=gameplay&g=RDR0
