There's a bug though, if i use a hint the moment it freezes the letter (making it unmovable), it will permanently be stuck at the wrong spot.

I must say that this is a very addicting, challenging, and relaxing puzzle game, but is also a workout for the mind and one of it's kind. This games is for all ages and sizes (along with IQs as well). I give it a 5/5.

good game. the only problem i had was the game didn't respond as quickly as i could click. someone mentioned "too many event listeners" i don't know what that means, but if there's a way for the game to react more quickly to clicks, it would be better. everything is awesome.

This is a really cool idea for a game. It sometimes ,misses mouse clicks, maybe you have too many event listeners? One for each letter perhaps? It might work better to just have one listener and then calculate which letter was hit yourself.

One day, in 1845, a girl named Jenn was killed by an insane man stabbing her in the back. Now that you have read this, she will haunt your house for 5 years, and every night she will stare at you in your closet with her glowing red eyes. To save yourself, post this comment to 3 games

I quite enjoyed this game - rather different fare from the majority of the games on this site, a welcome change. How about adding a "quotes unlocked" page for puzzles you've solved, and maybe a random quote option once you've beaten the game? The unfamiliarity of most of the quotes required quite a lot of problem-solving, but the hints ensured that it wasn't impossible. I'm not sure how you do your difficulty ratings (mostly, they're incredibly accurate as the final three in each era were truly challenging), but two things to note: formulaic quotes are significantly easier ("if we can do calculus, then we can do fractions; if we can spell, then we can read" for example), and repeated unusual words with unusual letters also lower the difficulty (especially long words). I liked your categorisation by era - maybe in a future game or as an added feature to this one you can do categorisation by topic/context (ex. literary, historical).

I love this game. I think I'm addicted to it. It's wonderfully mind boggling especially when you don't know the quotes. Thank you! I hope for more games in the futre

Good work! I liked it a lot, altough I wish I could disable the blinking "bonus"words that come once in a while, I find them quite distracting as I actually didn't care about the score at all.

Had the same problem someone else had. At higher levels, when you get the quote right it closes up and doesn't show your points or the quote and who said it. It worked fine at levels that were lower, but at level 8 it didn't work properly. You can get the words but not really take in the whole quote, so that's why it's good to be able to see it and think about it at the end.
