too repetitive, ranking up is slow and hardly gives you anything, upgrades are hardly noticeable exept for magnet and candy, and all survival is is just 50 waves of the same old same old. the final boss was easier then the normal enemies at level 5, and the boss at level 8 was harder, he actually did some impressive damage. overall it was too slow and rather inconsistant. it had great potental, but fell short of expectations, better luck next time.

1 cat, 3 ninjas, making sure you get almost all the candies (kill everything!), and lasting until wave 18 should get you 30,000+ points. Just make sure you level up candy drop rate to the max as soon as you can. In fact, go ahead and level it up whenever you can afford it, than focus on Special, Speed, and Attack. Magnet is not important for atleast 9 levels, so give it a skip until you feel comfortable with the rest of the stats. Good Luck!

Interesting idea but overall a let down. The base stats for each class may appear balanced but the specials and the way each class attacks make all but the Ninja totally useless in comparison. There needs to be either faster movement speed or a health regen stat and there also is a recurring problem of enemies coming from behind where there is absolutely no way to avoid them if you can't shoot behind you. Another feature needed is the ability to change stance, go from 2x2 stance to 1x4 stance etc. I suggest looking at footage of an old gameboy game "Mercenary Force" to get an idea of how this style of game should be made.

Pretty easy. I like the 4 ninja strategy. Focus upgrades on candy and attack, get speed over health and make sure you have decent special by level 12 there's a bunch of big attack waves from behind. Level 8 has a boss who starts with a 3 shot spread, at half health he'll charge you once and switch to a 5 shot spread. Level 13 boss is big flying saucer flies where you can't hit and summons purple monsters that track onto you, then comes down and occupies top half of screen fires a 4 way spread across rest of screen. Rinse and repeat, at half health will mix firing 4 shots at you in with the 4 way spread

STATS: 40-50 points per hero. You need attack to kill enemies, speed to maneuvre and special for boosts (read further). The best defense is a good offense, health only delays death. TEAM: Cat boosts attack, Witch boosts attack and speed, these two seem vital to me. Ninja(s) for spread, Robin(s) for focused damage. Bunny gives a huge speed boost, Fairy gives you a heal that can be handy if you can't just dodge the bullets. STRATEGY: It's hard at start. You level up your player character by just playing. At Hero level, the +90 to all stats makes it much easier. You also get new heroes including some I recommended, that helps, too. INVESTMENT: Candy! Candy! They took them, so you want it back, with interest! It is important for economy, you should get it one point below max before level 7. Level 8 is harder, spend candy on special, attack and speed, and a bit of health. Then you just keep spending and it makes late game easy, thus ... KONGRATULATIONZ! Please upvote if it helped you.

Really appreciate that you redid the shading for the aliens that enter from the left. Not everyone puts that much thought in.

Ugh, starting over is so tedious... Normally I wouldn't mind, but it's not like I'm doing a whole lot during these levels. Also, no game should have an onscreen pause button, especially not a shooter that requires constant attention like this one. I shouldn't have to navigate the cursor over to some microscopic pause button while dodging enemies and bullets. Pause key only.

A tip - if you're going for the 30,000 points badge - get it BEFORE wave 18. LightEcho's 2xcat, 2xninja strategy is a winner, btw.

For Story? 4 ninjas. For Survival? Two cats, two ninjas, a lot of special spamming and upgrade candy gathering as early as possible. You don't need to beat round 18, just punch a ways into it.

I want to be able to rotate each team member. Even just turning a couple of them backwards would solve so many problems!

Hard Badge: 4 ninjas, save special just to escape when foes come from backwards. Upgrade: candy full at first with one point in magnet > attack full > special full > health full > speed full > magnet full. This will work properly untill 32~34k, then you will be raped by the gunmans riding that cthulhu wheelchairs. +1 if worked to get the badge

Hey, you can use the WASD keys as well. Helpful if the keys stick when you try to use specials and move at the same time.

Just beat the game with 4 ninjas with soldier rank (+45 stats). I upgraded attack speed fully and then health fully before I did anything else.

At first I said "Wow, it's pretty dangerous for these kids to be running in the street." But then we killed a few thousand aliens and suddenly cars don't matter anymore. Also, there's a bug with pause. While paused, you won't shoot, but your shots will still charge (or reload). So abusing pause will get you a higher fire rate at the cost of... convenience.

I took four ninjas on Survival. Worked on Candy (and a couple Magnet) first, the did Attack and Special, then Speed and Health. High-area-damage team will get you there; dying midway through wave 17 got me 28.8k, dying shortly into wave 18 got me 32.2k. Good luck!

I got to wave 18 and 12543 pieces of candy before dying. I got 31213 points, this is a reference for the hard badge. Also there will be a lot of those alien mini boss that will come and probably kill you at that point.

how to win: level up at least once (if you're bad at the game like me then you'll need to level up more so your stats will start of better) and then go two cat and two ninjas (it also works with one cat but two cats is even more fun) your candy is top priority, so get as much of that as possible during the whole game. After the first wave, upgrade the candy upgrade once (or twice if you can) and then repeat until your candy is maxed out. When this happens, start upgrading your special up to max using the same strategy as before. Then do the same as your attack, and then after then you can do whatever you want. make sure to use your special anytime there's enemies on screen that aren't just one or two grey aliens, there's no need to try to use them stragically if you can just spam them at every corner. If you did the thing, and you did it right, and you didn't mess it up, it works! It just works!

Fairy, Knight, Witch, Cat. Unbeatable group. Max out special early on and all 3 of those buffs will last approximately 85% of the time. Get shot? No problem special also heals you. Things drop in no time flat with the double attack speed buff. Made it to wave 19 or 20 or something in Survival and took out like 50 of those mini boss guys on the little hover crafts. Then the game either bugged or that was the last wave and just had me running forward firing with no more enemies and no end. I'd like to know if that actually was the final wave. Great game lots of fun different classes. Final score was 33,026 cheers

Whoever decided 30,000 was a good benchmark is a sadist. I died right near the very beginning of Survival Wave 18, which is virtually impossible because of multiple Level 8-style bosses, leaving me with a score of 29,852...
