I liked this game, the story was touching, and yet required at least a smidgen of effort in order to progress properly and not get stuck. These games are always enjoyable to play through.

Graphics kinda annoy me, I like the lighting effects, but I think you should have spent a little more time reducing jaggies, and maybe use a bit more colors in the cave palette

Music could have created a bit more of a suspenseful mood, and your friend could have been something more interesting than it was, but other than that I enjoyed it.

Hey nunca 433 how bout you shut the hell up. some people don't want to look at "eveolved" games because generally, they take way too long to beat, have no storyline, and take up the memory of our computers. Sometimes going back to the old style of gameplay is so much more fun then exploding little demented monsters of doom or escaping a frickin telephone booth.

hmm im just giving a thought here but the game is a reference to real life of how two friends new each other and were almost same except each had they're own attributes but then one went away and was sending messages to the other and once they met again all grown up they were two totally different persons.

nice story, music fits perfectly, but graphics are a bit dark and the game is a little to short and monotone for my taste.
A very nice and somewhat unusual idea, though!

This game was so sweet. It almost broke my heart reading all the notes. And the octopus IS his friend. Whatever made all you bastards think it was a human who was his partner?

@nunca= i actually really like retro games. actually, many other people like it as well. dont you think it is unfair to say every one is like you?

Just when you thought OMG THE MUSIC GETS TO ME ... its over. Nice, short and sweet - kinda like have to burn the rope, only no rope and no giant. Also nothing like you have to burn the rope ... well. Still good tho :D

STOP. DOING. THIS. RETRO. GAMING. GARBAGE! you miserable hipster, games evolved! why must you ignore the present and keep bringing us this nostalgic crap? also, your game is not enjoyable. the gigantic numbers on the screen obscure gameplay and generally irritate the hell out of players.

Vey intresting!!! But that dude got a friend is a squid but can write the note?. This game is the most confused game I ever play. I wonder what happen to the dude when he found his friend.

WARNING SPOILER-----@Nickhumphrey- the squid was probably his friend, or a mutation, thats why the last note said i can hold my breath forever, jake elliot might be the creator

Well... i can't really tell what the storyline was... two friends who broke up or something... then the ending was just weird.
