Do people not understand the fact that this simulates what would happen if you actually died? There's no +1 ups, or game over continue? You die, i.e. you don't come back.

I'm confused about how this game incorporates "Free will." Of course you can refresh, but having the character repeat itself after you die just makes me think this is a fail game.

people are saying this is like you only live once. in you only live once, once you die, even if you do refresh, it makes fun of how you die, and it will not give you a second chance. In this, however, you can refresh on this game and try again.

Wow, i thought the free will thing would be a deep meaning like " oh it was your free will to refresh the page if u die to beat the game"... but sadly i was wrong... great game though.

It's meant to be a comment on determinism? Although it seems that the guy was following our will the first time, it turns out that he never could have acted differently than he did?
That kind of thing doesn't really survive the translation into the game format, because the players themselves DO change their input the second time round. Doubt many of the 12yo on Kong would have made the leap to wondering whether they had any real choice in the input they gave either time. :) I'd really like to see an "actual" game with these graphics and music, they tug at my nostalgia gland.

much like you other game you only live once" you dont get to re try until you refresh...untill then it plays what you just did, so you can watch your epic fail over and over again

I loved it. Seriously. Retro is coming back, and is the bestest. Have a little humor if you didn't like the ending. Most of you couldn't even get something this good, yes?
