The "Hard" badge is not that hard because there isn't that much skill involved (more like a medium badge). You probably won't get it on the first try. You will more or less have to wait until you get the right combination, much like a slot machine or card game--it is like gambling. It is not a standardized set challenge and there is no limit on the number of tries you can have before completing the challenge. All that said, thank you Reflexive for this game and Kongregate for hosting and promoting.

The great thing about this game is that it uses soft music. Music that is soothing to hear. This tends to cause people to be less aggressive and have more patience. Not to mention it's healthy for you. Another part is the multiple colors. Would be better if he had more colors, but this is good enough. With the colors it actually makes you think and you are able to develop your brain some. All in all, this game is healthy for you.
Very acute thinking what the developer did here. He deserves a 5 star.

guys you know whats funny...load up a hour long song and try to play it all the way thru :-D I tried it and last about 10 minutes had about 70.000.000 points and had to restart it coz I couldnt dodge the red pieces since the catcher was big as half of the screen :-D

This is how I personally feel about this game, it may not even have a meaning at all but this is what I think. I think that it is showing us that even in great pieces of music there are always going to be mistakes (red notes). That these mistakes can catch us off guard, and really hurt you. But it shows that we should not be focusing on these mistakes, that we should avoid dwelling on them. Because music is not about the things you did wrong. Music is about everything you did right, regardless of your mistakes.

@bf842903 Just use Pattern: Straight and Motion: Fixed and you'll be able to do it without any issues. Just keep going from left to right with your mouse and avoid the red ones of course. Don't even try to catch them all, keep your combo going and your points will without any issue above 5M.

@abrizzle900 Looks like someone doesn't like piano...as a piano lover, I think the music in this game is amazing. It's beautiful and the game's music symbols sync with them perfectly.

Talk about a stress-reliever. More games should play classical music, but this one goes one step further and makes the music part of the game. Thumbs up to the creators!

For those curious about how to play this with SuperNova SWF Enabler plug-in, use this address provided below by copying the entirety of it and pasting it onto the address bar at the top of your browser to ensure that it bypasses the ‘GameShell’ issue that have plagued many earlier games of Kongregate: supernova://play/?swfurl=https://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0003/9398/live/MusicCatch2.swf?kongregate_game_version=1242765170 Make sure that your latest installation of SuperNova works correctly, as it will not function if it cannot load games that can work fine without this bypassing of the SWF files here (Used Google Chrome dev tools to get the link).

To get the hardest badge:
Win enough rounds until you have access to 'radar,' and make sure the direction is either 'right' or 'left.' At first, rush around collecting EVERY yellow you see, then when it's around 20x begin to simply follow the radar focusing on the center (where the most notes per area accumulate) when it's clear. Get all purples, and power notes when you can. I just beat the level that way with 11 million. Thumbs up to keep this alive, and hopefully replace other suggestions.

There is a little glitch to the game. If you like to achieve the hard badge, just start a internet radio or else (like I heared grooveshark in repeatmode) and start the game with "letting go". Then the shapes will just end spawning until you close the window/tab with the internetradio. So you will have enough time to collect 5.000.000 points. I know it is like cheating but I just recognized it when I had like 10.000.000 points and was beginning to ask myself when the track will end...

Collected 85% of the shapes, got the red star for avoiding all reds, got all the yellows aside from yellow madness except two, and ended with a 105 combo. Result: 3,800,000, WHAT THE HECK! How much better do I have to DO!
