I have pretty bad panic attacks and nothing soothes my nerves like a truly absorbing game and good music. Put the two together in MC3, and you have the reason why I'm still sane. Thank you so much, Reflexive. (And thank goodness I already got the hard badge, or that'd be even more stress...)

No other game, anywhere, gives you quite as big of a boost to your score and just generally says "I love you, player" as when you get a purple power RIGHT before a Yellow Madness within the first 30 seconds of a song.

@Gotenks070 I go to www.mp3skull.com in the search bar type the song title or artist, whenm you find the right left click download. that will open a new page and you can copy that pages address and paste it in the game.

I love that type of games that has calmly and good music that even if you lose you'll stay calm .... not type if games that makes you break the keyboard after losing hundred time .

just earned the Hard badge, ended with 11,168,224 and x208 with no red notes hit. song- Letting Go, Shapes- Floral, Pattern- Radar, Motion- Wave. With that set up there are about 4x more notes on the screen, which means more yellow and purple. you really do not have to go after anything but yellow and purple. so just look out for those while avoiding the red notes. You will get past 5,000,000 in a breeze if you hit no red notes. If this set up works for you then let others enjoy it too. Such an easy badge for 30 points, be a shame if others can't get it either =].

I see 'Music Game' and I think DDR and strobing lights and death metal and avoid it like the plague. Thank gawd for badge quests, that's all I can say. A beautiful and restful game. 5/5, favourited, and yet another reminder that judging an entire class of objects by one member is really stupid and shortsighted.

i don't know how you guys get this... i avoided all red shapes, got 73% and i didn't see a single yellow shape get by me and didn't get even 1/2 way there. crazy

A TIP FOR THE HARD BADGE: Choose a straight wave pattern and try to collect every shape (excluding red ones) by going left to right continuously. Keep this one alive.

Great game, although it's a shame that the hard badge is so reliant on luck rather than improving in the actual game. The timing of the special notes come is crucial; for instance the yellow madnes has to come quite early, but not right at the start as then your dot is too small to catch everything in time. If it comes past about halfway the 5,000,000 becomes impossible as for the first half you've been scoring on a poor multiplier. And there's the times when multiple purples come at once so one gets wasted...
Still, it's relaxing enough so I don't mind sitting here waiting for the right set-up to come along!

I managed to rage (semi-rage) quit this game. Not sure if that's an achievement or a sad testament to underlying anger problems that I'm gonna have to work out with a therapist in a few years.

This game has more meaning to it that catching shapes. I found it odd I was so calm even when losing yellows to reds. Because I heard the music. I stopped playing in the middle of the song, because i realized that life is supposed to be that. Not worrying about what you have and what you have lost, but just listening to the beauty and admiring it. It doesnt matter how many slips of paper you have. It doesn't matter what shoes you wear. What matters is that you don't spend life trying to do everything and become the best, but admire life. Look at it. Love it. Listen to it.

Hard Badge Easy - Radar + Wave, do a small circle around the middle, pop out to grab yellows and purples when necessary. I hit 5 reds and still scored 8.5 million first try.

This game is so amazing, I love how when you hit a red or get purple power, there are no sound effects so it's not distracting you from the music.

I can't find any URLs for songs I like if I don't want to download them. That is the only flaw in this otherwise lovely game!

My answer: once you unlock the “MP3 from URL” feature, you can use any public URL that returns an MP3. Since the file has to be public, music on your own computer will not work. Also, HTML pages and YouTube videos will not work because they do not return an MP3 file. Most URL’s will actually end in .mp3, but as long as the URL returns the MP3 data, any URL should work. If a valid MP3 file fails the first time, trying again may fix the problem.

My personal hint: make a screenshot of completed ingame requirements - together with your nickname near the Kong chat - and report missing achievement.
Kong should respond within few days.

i played this game a lot back then.... it's so sad to see it was a flash game and now it's a dead game... Memories from this game will last forever and luckly for me also the badges will last forever.
