I find that opening with a defensive person, then switching to an offensive person once all 12 AP's are available works best. Yaska (For defense. Once you get the heal spell, this guy's a tank!), Chimera (For physical/energy offense), and Tuyul (For the water attack, which is hard to get early on) are a good combo. Also, don't end your turn before your enemy's health actually goes down to 0 and they die, or the AP they give each round will still add when you end your turn. Wait until their health hits 0, then end you turn.

This game was fine right up till the piercing nonsense added to the extra battles. It makes using the proper elemental match ups not only pointless but impossible. When an enemy can kill your level 70 monster using an attack that are SUPPOSED to be null damage to. Adding in items so that you can refill your AP and essentially never let the enemy go was a bad idea to late game balancing.

@DarkDude22 It does not take 2 AP, you probably only had 2 AP left and you picked it, it only takes 1 AP and skips your turn.

"Defend" says it needs 1AP. If I use it, I lose 2 AP, though. I don't know if it's a bug or something, but I wanted to say that.

@prospectorsam the bottom set of creatures are for when u beat the last area also u only get yakshini in shop on first map on the difficult bit also ur on about the normal tiger just get loads of white leafs and keep using them to do the focus and power hit with chimaera to kill him eventually

i'd recommend starting out with chimera and yaksa, then when you can buy baphomet he's an extremely good chainer BUT, his damage will be low at starting levels.

Saving works fine for me. Now if I could just beat that damn tiger... there's no 9-headed anything in any of my shops. :-( I also wonder what the second lines of icons are all about at the bottom of each map; there's no visible means of reaching them.

How the hell can you beat the giant tiger in the 4th map?I know how to deal with the valkiries [or whatever they are] by forcing them to go low on health then use mighty blow + power up,but the tiger gives me hard time.

i hate how it doesnt autosave so every time u die you have to restart wher u last saved which means u have to save every battle

Really great game, good work :-) i'll wait for badge and sequel.
However, it is possible to achieve incredible combo. My record is 374, who did better? :-P

also i really hope rudy sudarto makes Epic Quest 2 cause it is a really amazing game, just for some bizzare reason it isn't as popular as his epic war series i don't get it what's not to like?

@bored5555 i dunno if this is the problem but it been happening for months and i only just installed the new flashplayer so i have no idea if that is affecting it in any way but generally the data gets lost after a day or two
anyone got any solutions?

@newmandragon does your internet delete all your cookies when you close the browser? If it does, thats what is happening to your save data. The internet (or flash player 10.3 and up) might be deleting your save files.

Really love this game but i refuse to play anymore because save data keeps getting deleted somehow i even let kongregate use unlimited storage and i dont mess with the files so where does it all go?

why does it keep saying save data does not exist??? I swear i keep saving it after nearly every fight, gets annoying when you nearly completed whole game.
Btw a quick tip use yaksa, chimera and that little yellow faced guy they get you all the way to end. But replace yellow face with ghoul and chimera for red knight untill you finish the main story then buy the uber powerful units. trust me defending with red knight and yaksa then using ghoul high power magic attacks really defeats most enemies.

This is probably one of the hardest games I've ever played... I can't even get past the first map haha, but still a good game.
