@jacobschuck , hobbits are good but you need to know when to send them. For example , level six. Once you reach 140 mana you start sending them and it makes it impossible to lose. Not everyone knows this though , so they will lose half the time. If you do not believe me try level this to this strategy. As long as you keep sending them it is an easy way to earn XP.

Levels 1-6 wait for your mana bar to fill to max and spam dwarves, When they get about 3/4 of the way across the map then spam hobbits. No need to upgrade mana. Helpful for getting those long and boring first levels out of the way so you can get upgrades for Orcs and Elves.

My tacit is to fight with arrows at first. Upgrade to max. Then upgrade everything else while your arrows pwn. Then, max out your mana. I only fight with paladins (That's me, so far to good [ Level 14 ] ).

how I completed level 17:
1)First of all, kill the castle. Should be easy enough.
2) Boss: Use elf hunters and Angel Soldiers. Continuous angel soldier spam is the only thing that worked for me to make him stop moving.

1) First of all, kill the castle. Should be easy enough.
2) Boss: killed using all three heroes I had spammed continously: Red Dragon, Angel Soldier, and the elf hero

If you get really really really bogged down on last level like I did you can resort to using cerberus' it takes around 2 hours for them to win it but they dont trigger the kings attack. This is also an impromtu bug report :)

This game is awesome, the best Epic War game. I've played this over and over, and it doesn't NEED speed up buttons. But it would be nice.

@Xcrypt: It isn't all that slow. Besides 100x would just destroy you in the mid to late game. Though at that point your computer would lag anyway so it wouldn't really matter, you likely wouldn't get above 10x

I am completely stuck on the first battle against the orcs. Totems are not letting my creatures attack and the only things not affected are really expensive! What gives? Also in chapter 7 I lost to the huge army that appeared when their base had 8 life :( Could someone please help with this?
