Found a way to dominate Colossus for those people who are struggling :D Personally the Hero didn't affect how i killed it, i used Viegraf. I just mainly used Golem, Black Dragon, Vampire Warrior, Elf Hunter and Elderly Wizard all maxed out. I found VW's regen helpful until i reached the Colossus. Colossus has very high HP and DMG so i used the VW's as decoys, it got more easier as they got closer to your hero, they should be all running in sync so he would attack them and then attack the next one without barely moving, i kept the EW EH and Centaurian just out of range so they could open fire while he was occupied, The golem will provide a few hits support and the build wall would stop him occasionally too as well as black dragon did a bit of dmg. If you want to beat him, always equip the platinum shield and use the shield spell. By the time he's near the hero, he should be just about dead. + for those who struggle with this boss.

How I beat "The end of hope"
I used:
1) Elf hunter
2) Succubus
3) Centurion
4) Witch
5) Elderly Wizard
6) Black Dragon
7) Queen Etheriea
How to win:
First, get every unit on the field and get mana to 100. Then, send the Black Dragon forward a bit, then send every one but Queen Etheriea up ahead. Use the Queens "Regen" skill constantly to keep the Dragon alive. The End of hope should only be healing 100-300 from it's attacks, so you should easily be able to out-damage it. Note, It's recommended to have it's Hp and defense as high as possible. I used the Turtle Shield and made 15k HP. It's best to have every thing max, but it's not necessary.
Hope this helps. The fact she heals a lot less then normal (The boss) when hitting the Dragon may be a glitch, how ever. So this may stop working.

yay for ignoring most of our comments in your previous games and simply spamming newer versions to earn yourself money from Kongregate. Shame this keeps getting badges when so many things are ignored from us the commenters.

You could make it so you can use the extra experience you have to upgrade the attack and health of the character. At least that would help make the hero more useful.

The longer I played this version of Epic War the more I began to get the feel of an old style arcade game especially with the hero shouting "I will destroy you!" non-stop. 4/5

Overall a very creative game to a fun series. It's built from scratch and has a unique arsenal of weapons, units, and heroes. I think its worth taking time to play. I generally have no problems with it except a few unimportant flaws.

The easiest way to beat the trials and extras is with the queen if you are not her level up the vampires to get regen the trials all are easier if you give the Black dragon the Omega seal ,but if not use something to up his health + if this helps

i have almost beat all trial stages, and i believe that the hero becomes worthless even befor you beat all of the regular stages, i personaly liked it better when the way you loose is when your castle gets destroyed, your hero just dies too easily, but with a base, i beleive it becomes more fair.

If there's a diamond on a unit, you have given that unit an accessory. The orange pointy thing means that a unit has enough experience to get an...oh no...*sings* Upgraaade!

After beating the game with skull knight I noticed that I had unlocked the flame demon and that huge demon with the sword forgot his name . what use are they if I have beaten the game ? Over all it was pretty good mixing the accessories around for different levels . It takes useing your head just as much as the brute strength of your units

good game i beat it i have 84% on viegragarf the witch girl is 80% and skull knight is 100% complete good game + if you think they should allow you to delete bildings and use extra xp for something else like power or speed or maybe luck + if you agree +++:)

lol heres a glitch in the begining of a match u can see the edge of the map like the side of ur opponet like a little part of it, u can use this and see units come out of the opponets side (note: it disappears in like a minute)

If your hero is dying, keep him/her in the very back. Make sure all other units are good and you can still use his/her abilities.

wow inferno went right past all my units when i fought it so i freaked out cuz i had no clue wat do, all u need to do is either get ur hero to go past inferno and run away or duke it out with inferno with ur hero with ur other units (note inferno has units too so be carefull of them)
