Colossus is very simple. Have ranged units, and spam the most abundant melee units you can. The colossus has to pause to hit each melee unit. So if hordes of weak melee come at him, he has to stop to hit each of them. Back up the ranged units as he kills the melee. Eventually he will hit an equilibrium near your hero, where the units outnumber how many he can kill. The ranged will just work him down from there. For the Fortress, just get the Black dragon, death, white wolf and back them up with healing. Being careful that the Dragon stays alive. For the 4 devils, make sure you cast a spell to bring 1 forward at a time, then have the same 3 tank creatures burn him down before he gets to your hero. For the very last level, use a similar strategy to colossus. Just make sure you do enough ranged damage because she heals when she hits.

TRIAL #4 Units: Black dragon (omega seal), Death (strike ring), Vampire warriors (platinum sword), any other infantry units (platinum swords). Strategy: keep using regen. spell on death and black dragon. keep doing this until hes dead. This is the hardest trial I think.
TRIAL #5 Units: Vampire warriors. Tiger, Black dragon(omega seal), Death, Succubus, Elf Hunters. Strategy: wait until all of your units are ready click charge make your hero stay back.
Now keep using the vampires regen on your high hp units. the rangers and spellcasters are just there to speed up the process of killing her.

Trial 1: Units: Goblin, Hobbit, Elf hunter, Centaurion, Witch, Succubus. Spells: Rage. Type: The Colossus shouldn´t be near your ranged units.
Trial 2: Units: Golem, Death, White Tiger, ranged units. Spells: Regen and rage or heal and rage, attacks.
Trial 3: Units: Use bosses. Spells: Regen and rage or heal and rage, thunder. Type: Kill 4 Lords of Hell 1 per 1. Use thunder attack.
Trial 4: Units: Use bosses and fast units. Spells: Regen or heal. Type: If the Undead Beast King is attacking the hero,you should move the hero to the right part of the map while you heal him/her. Then move him/her to the left part of the map (where your hero starts to play).
Trial 5: Units: Iron Fortress, Centaurion, Elf Hunter, Hell Raider (boost item), Paladin (boost item), Vampire Warrior. Spells: Regen. Type: When the Iron Fortress has 3/4 of its health,use Regen.

I think inferno as enemy is a bit OP . Why he keeps moving forward even while attacking, in the previous epic wars , at least if a unit goes behind of the troops , at least they go back, but this one , once attacked they keep moving forward till the hero is killed

i have idea to defeat iron fortress first try equip that have many attacks or many health then go to iron fortress (level) Then build up your unit and make sure your units not attack until your unit all spawn then attack make still hero on the left side then try use what your hero have then use it and the unit (does that work?) rate this comment as good to agree

Reading what @chubafuzz said, I think the game would be better if excess xp was used by each unit to :
• decrease mana usage per spell, or
• decrease spawn time, or
• increase spell duration
Also, hero's strength is not enough to deal with extra and trial levels. xp can be used to :
• increase hp or attack, or
• increase mana generation speed, or
• buy advanced shields
Anyway, it is enjoyable. A 4/5, maybe 5/5 if made better :)

Like alot of people have said the xp is rendered useless for all units that have been maxed out. Would be nice to see maybe advanced tree or different sections to upgrade like between health attack and the spells. Maybe not that much detail but at least bigger skill trees would be useful with the excess xp.

You seem to have regressed. I much prefer the one with the giant map of skills and creatures that you could unlock with xp you gain rather then each unit gaining it's own xp. This feels like it should be one of the first ones you released, not the 5th.

if u cant compelete some cave of trial follow this simple step: equip black dragon and white tiger and vampires (if your hero dont have regen spell) and other rangers equip your black dragon with omega seal and when they are at the boss spam the regenration spell :D

i dont get how they stated that there are "three heroes with unique stories" when there are the same exact fights and a cool feature to this game would be when you upgrade something on a character the character takes a new image depending on what you upgraded like Stick War besides this would be way better (put + if you agree)

I notice an objectives system, but it seems underused. Every level it's "Defeat if your hero dies, Victory if the enemy boss dies". Would be interestingto see other objective elements, such as defending a castle, perhaps even some levels that work like Epic War 1 and 2, with castle-bows?

number 2 is still my favoright this one is just not exciting and doesnt have an intersting goal or challeng its the same waiting till all units are there and then sending them all but your hero.

should be an extra character/characters that you unlock after doing difficult tasks such as beat all levels with each character and maxing out upgrades for every unit

i have a good ideea for epic war 6(when u make it).You can add more speed like x5 and god's, lord's or king's. God's are stronger than titans ,lord's are stronger than heroes , and king's are like lord's but with horse.You can add hidden monsters, you can get they by unloking achievements.

Epic War is possibly the best series of only games ive ever played. Although there were a few things i didnt like in some of them, it was still overall good. Nothing is perfect, but i think the epic war series came close.

The longer I played this version of Epic War the more I began to get the feel of an old style arcade game especially with the hero shouting "I will destroy you!" non-stop. 4/5

Here what i like about epic war, and would love to see in your next game, if any (please do!)
The epic war 1-2 maps, and the long humongous battles, epic war 3 unique units like the way mages attack
epic war 4-Map enviorment (climates)
scrape the ideas of towers and stuff
luv your game n keep it up, played EW1 since it came out n a big fan since

im with the others here i feel that the hero's HP i way too low hes only useful from lvls 1-2 the rest i just keep him back and have my units kill. Suggestions:
-More Hp for hero
-More upgrades for units and hero
-Making it so that Getting defeated is not by getting your hero killed
-More Hp for Super units and normla units

How to defeat swordmaster:Goblins+vampires+hobbits+any ranged units. DON'T use big units, it will only heal the swordmaster! Kill the colossus with using goblins, vamps, hobbits, and all 3 spellcasters with plat sword. It worked for me, then afterwards, use lord of hell and regen and you will win anything that you play, with the lord of hell not dying ever.
