I have mixed reaction. I believe there were several improvements made, mostly around some issues in #4. The troops are stronger and don't have to hide behind your heroes, but the heroes have weakened to less-than heroic strength. The troops also (thank GOD) stay where you put or return to that post when they finish fighting someone in melee, fixing one of the biggest complaints from Epic War 4. I think it is also better to upgrade your units in individual trees, that way you don't "spend" resources on a unit that you only use once that you could have you used on another. The difficulty curve is not as steep as the previous games, although some may consider this a drawback. The problem, though, is that the player has less of an influence on the battlefield, because the spells are available rarely. Two steps forward, one step back; it's just the step back is more obvious than the two forward. This may not have been the 5/5 game fans expected, but it's still worth the hours.

I had success over and over just by leaving my hero at the start line and sending everyone into battle. The hero doesn't get hurt, and the other soldiers keep regenerating themselves, continually returning to battle in a cycle wave. Cast spells when you can and just sit back get bored and watch the carnage.

The last level is way too hard, one minute there are two boss units then 5 boss unit come out the portal door and my hero gets corned

some tips for trials: Trial 1 - use goblins and 5 ranged units. Goblins keep Colossus from moving much by taking a beating whilst ranged units hammer him from afar. Use rage & heal spell. Trial 2 - same as trial 1, make sure you have gorillas and elderly wizard as they deal a lot of damage and push oppents back respectively. take it a bit at a time using the ranged units to batter everything in their way from a distance. Trial's 3, 4 & 5 - these are all basically the same, you need vampire in your team for their regeneration spell and any and all titan units you have (make sure you have maxed them out by grinding a level - level 10 is an easy one once you have the units). Put the omega seal on the snow tiger (then put it on the iron fortress when you unlock it). attack when you have 100 mana and just keep using the regeneration spell (which lasts about 10 seconds). This will get you through all the trials first time. hope it helps!

the hero is only used to watch the battles?
In the firsts levels he is the most powerful unit, but in the final levels he die in just 2 or 3 hits of the bosses.
I place him in the beginning of the map and dont move him for nothing.
Its just need an diferent mode to upgrade the hero!
apart from that, this is a great game! worthy of the saga Epic War.

"Aright time to send out Viegraf out to battle." Viegraf starts to die and I have no mana "GET OUT OF THERE VIEGRAF!!" He dies doing his "I will destroy you!" comment and I fail the level. So when I say fall back you fall back.

A good tip for training units: Find a map that has enemies come to you, and have the elderly wizard, centaurs, hunters, and 3 units you want to train. Start the game and put it on 3x speed then go away for an hour or so then kill the boss and you get a crap ton of exp on them!

If there is ever a epic war 6 I have 1 request. Make it multiplayer. We want to battle each other , and learn some new strategies from each other. If this was possible spells would probably be disabled thought.

don't use "bad units" you use fast spawn units
the colossus is weak to magic
use succubi, witches, wizards, goblins, hobbits and vampires
for the end of hope use succubi, elf hunters, witches, vampires, goblins and hobbits
and for the undead beast king i used black dragon, white tiger, inferno, death, golem and wizards because i had this empty slot. i used the summon castle my undead knight had and put it right on the beast only taking leap damage and not taking the return damage
iron fortress and lords of hell i beat them using a random collection of titans and constant use of shield ability

i love all the Epic War games. they pass by time quickly and amuse with entertainment. this game is actually quite okay compared to the others. i believe the heros need stronger and better upgrades. getting to the harder parts of the game, the heros are mainly set aside. the points that are left over just sit there. basically we need more upgrades, or superior added skills and health. i do miss how i cant have 2 other heros battling alongside of me. magic skills are a pain not to have either. overall i appreciate this game. thank you

i suggest a feature by which we can placed our buildings before the start of game and also building limit must be removed. This will help pretty alot

i would love to see a passive upgrade for all units like maybe multiple items or a small increase in defense/ attack for all unit cause playing thru the whole game my goblins have like 10k exp that i can't use for anything maybe that extra exp could go to something
got to say i like the new changes better to shake things up it is new and not just another make the other games some new of its own

once again, another great game. i just wish that future epic war games are going to be like the first epic war games. i personally like the 2nd epic war because its way better than having to use cards and such

I like this game but its to difficult to keep the hero alive the life of the hero must be at least 10000 and attack power must be at least 700 to 800 so that it can stand strong against its enemy.
