Blocking spaces where monsters pop out of the spawners, prevent them from spawning. Makes level 8, A heck of alot easier, especially if you dont have the other units maxed out.

want to up level fast? experience point is given by the damage u deal. So upgrade power and switch to weapons that shoot 3 bullets per shot. Shoot at close range to make sure all bullets hit, experience point will increases very fast. Upgrading accuracy, heat max and AP will help as well.

i prefer another game on here, which is 'mission in space: lost colony'. But i like this too, guess i just like turn based squad games

Why, after all this time, have we still not seen a comparable sequel? It's been 4 years this month, and no word on a part 2? Or hell, just the same game with more levels or something!? Come on!!!

I have never complemented a flash game in my life. But this truly deserves to be the first. This game reminds me of Xcom the console game a lil bit. It has a very nice feel and fair look to it. You should definitely make a sequel or advance to real console game design whoever made this.

need way to go back and replay levels or somthing to get cash because I can't get the grenade launcher because I only have 150 cash and can't get more

For all those who want a sequel: this is merely (however GREAT) copy of a game called Incubation: Time Is Running Out (also known as Incubation: Battle Isle Phase Four). The original contained a lot more levels.

I remember I played this game 15 years ago (I am SO old???) :) I liked it then, and I like it now. I am glad someone made a remake of that old game. Thank you.

I guess I'd want to pay some to see a sequel for this, with more story. It's years since I played it, but I remember the awesome feeling. The upgrades make it so fun, instead of starting out as "have-it-all".
Anyone loving this should take a look at Dead State, a zombie strategy rpg. Free demo at Steam, worth it, but don't go too far into the story if you want it. Bugs in the demo get constantly updated in the real deal.
Make more awesome, receive love :[]

Actually a very good Incubation clone, much nostalgia, thank you very much. Would love a sequel with more weapons/classes and levels.

Great game, I am impressed.
Some ideas for the sequel
* More visual difference between ammo and credits boxes.
* Story
* Set it on a space ship instead of some weird green lake room???
* Secondary objectives on missions, which will give you bonus
* I want to see the ammo in the unit statues in the top corner

Let's be honest; this game is well-developed, but a bit too easy, so here are a couple challenges I've proposed:
Handgun Challenge: Complete the game using only the handgun as a weapon. No exceptions (shooting barrels with a handgun is okay).
Class Challenge: Assign each squadmate a specific loadout to resemble a unique class.
- Alpius "The Medic"
Handgun
3 AP
1 Stimpack
3 Ammo
1 Medkit
- Belinius "The Rifleman"
Standard Rifle
3 AP
1 Stimpack
2 Heat Max
2 Heat Dec
- Celsius "The Blitzer"
Assault Rifle
3 AP
1 Stimpack
(lack of outstanding skills is compensated by the bayonet)
- Daedalus "The Sniper"
Sniper Rifle
3 AP
1 Stimpack
3 Range
3 Accuracy
- Magnus "The Grenadier"
Grenade Launcher
3 AP
1 Stimpack
3 HP
3 Power

The final level, the survive to round 20, is only difficult if you are pressed for time. The map is so stupidly easy you literally just have to sit in a corner and stab the mobs as they come in.

at first I had given this a 5, but then I realised my weapons were heating up after 2 shots and enemies could spam shot me all they wanted o_0
This is just a weak version of X-com, and prety lame at it...

Stimpacks add two to your current AP, e.g. if you are on 2/7 AP, and click stimpack, you will have 4/7 AP. You need at least 1 AP left to be able to select it, and on max AP it is wasted. So, use at least 2 AP and less than all your AP before using stimpack.

"the enemies in this level are almost unlimited" (all my troops with assault rifles) 25 rounds later: Me: Damt! all the enemies are dead and i have a unit still in level 7!!

So, after running completely out of ammo *twice* in mission 2 (btw, all of my troops were spec'd in ammo, accuracy and power), i'm ready to give this a 1/5 and move on. It's a shame, because the ridiculous accuracy issues aside it's a well-made game.
