The final level, the survive to round 20, is only difficult if you are pressed for time. The map is so stupidly easy you literally just have to sit in a corner and stab the mobs as they come in.

at first I had given this a 5, but then I realised my weapons were heating up after 2 shots and enemies could spam shot me all they wanted o_0
This is just a weak version of X-com, and prety lame at it...

Stimpacks add two to your current AP, e.g. if you are on 2/7 AP, and click stimpack, you will have 4/7 AP. You need at least 1 AP left to be able to select it, and on max AP it is wasted. So, use at least 2 AP and less than all your AP before using stimpack.

"the enemies in this level are almost unlimited" (all my troops with assault rifles) 25 rounds later: Me: Damt! all the enemies are dead and i have a unit still in level 7!!

So, after running completely out of ammo *twice* in mission 2 (btw, all of my troops were spec'd in ammo, accuracy and power), i'm ready to give this a 1/5 and move on. It's a shame, because the ridiculous accuracy issues aside it's a well-made game.

REALLY wish i'd had the grenade launcher (as in the money to buy it) in the level right after you get the data for it

Good idea and graphics, but poorly balanced - very easy. Most battles I didn't take damage, just by being patient and tactical. Any of the monster spawning locations can be completely negated by just leaving a guy there with a bayonet on defensive position, or any number of enemies coming down a narrow corridor. No time pressure. 3/5.

great tactical shooter with a bit of a role playing component, it's a pitty there aren't many more games like that, and a bit pitty it is over that fast.
Still it could be a bit more difficult: stand next to the holes with bayonet troopers in defence mode shoot anything else at long range and then ... well uve won. i even had to wait 1 or 2 turns in the last level after i had killed all enemies and closed all holes because i had not yet survived 20 turns ...

This is really outstanding. I especially enjoy the kinks that some of the enemy types, like the stationary artillery bugs, introduce into your planning.

The assault rifle solves all ammo problems - just park next to a monster spawn hole and bayonet it while on defensive stance

5/5 graphics are good , and the gameplay is nice, and an interesting story I suggest more levels next time, and add a "skip button" for the enemy turns.

Complete mission. Ending Screen. Choice: Next level - or - Main Menu. Click Main Menu just to see. Click continue. Mission from beginning. ... seriously? That's a pretty nasty trap and could probably be fixed without too much hassle -.-

Very solid and good game - enjoyed it a lot. I just started to play Incubation again right after playing this. Would support a sequel for sure. Will there be a big Story / campaignmodus?

I need more of this shit... oh and here is a joke
A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: ”Ugh, that’s the ugliest baby I’ve ever seen!” The woman walks to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: ”The driver just insulted me!” The man says: ”You go up there and tell him off. Go on, I’ll hold your monkey for you.”

If you wanted to make the game more challenging, at the very least you could make the monsters harder to kill, plus maybe limit the number of responses for a fighter in defense mode.

Great game--the graphics are magnificent, and it's fun to play (I gave it 5 stars), although it is pretty easy. Level 6 was by far the hardest. A guy hiding behind a corner with a bayonet can take out pretty much anything, and doesn't run out of ammo.

The last level is far too easy. Magnus can just use his grenade launcher to kill the giant enemy and most of the shooting enemies without running out of ammo. Then you just sit your four soldiers, armed with bayonets, so that they can attack the melee enemies as they come out with the bayonet. They don't use ammo with the melee attack so magnus can go around and destroy the few you can't block this way.

I got two 0 damage against the target in first mission, one from 4 squares behind and one square to side, once from 5 square STRAIGHT behind. Bug or intentional?
