Argh! Was just on level 24, my best effort, thought I had finished it but made a stupid error so lost. Still had 2 jokers and various other tiles as well, was by far my best position!
Do really like the game (looking at the easy badge date it's over 3 years since I first played it, wow!) but it can be very frustrating!

Oh my god, my game froze on level 26 with about 8 joker tiles, and I was seriously ready to give up forever. Thankfully it started working again and I managed to make it through.
Almost 5 years between the easy badge and the hard badge, but I finally did it.
My strategy was to aim for quadruples, primarily colors, in the first 10 levels. What that means is that you have 4 of each color. If that wasn't working out, I would try to get quadruples for symbols, which should be self-explanatory. Accomplishing that nets you some bonus tiles and a joker, which makes a tile fit anywhere.
I actually ended up with 9 spares, heh. So yes, very luck-based, but if you can manage to grab some jokers near the beginning, you can at least expand your margin for error.

The design of the level is such that a red/red tile MUST be found. Should you not have designed it so that a RED/RED tile MUST be found?

The lock out tiles are too much. If out of your first four tiles you cannot place because of the lockouts, you're toast.

I wouldn't say that the badge is 90% luck, if you just use your bonus tools wisely and don't just randomly put stuff in the ring that fit, it becomes quite easy.

Sorry, harvestsun, but you're simply factually incorrect. It's easy to mistake a stroke of good fortune as skill and claim yourself skillful, but see how often you can reliably *repeat* that performance. I'd wager it won't be often.

I disagree with everyone who says this game should have a save function. I believe it would take the completely take the challenge out of it. It would be WAY too easy to beat and would take all the accomplishment out of beating all 30 levels.

For those who are confused: Points do not matter except for the badge. What you're likely experiencing is that blue exists! It looks almost exactly the same as green. Would be a decent game if not for this major oversight.

3/5 game got alot easier once i remembered that you can match shapes OR colors. Needs save or at least a checkpoint after each section.

I totally disagree about the game needing checkpoints, if you get the bonus tiles then you have plenty of other options to use when stuck.

You have to mute before you start the game or you won't get another chance to do it because you have to play through. At least in normal/"relaxed" mode.

Love this game. The lack of save function is part of the game and of the challenge. Despite what a lot of people seem to believe, this game is not based on luck. It is based on risk assessment. With a good management of the bonuses/tiles, one can reach level 30 about 75% of the time.
