Am I the only one who kept the same starting 5 from city to city and got really attached to them? (One just got bitten, and I'm surprisingly emotional.)

5/5 All I'm saying. The fact that your people can reclaim their hometown then send a 5 man deathsquad by heli/ subway/ drafted ammendment as a safe zone/ town safety to another ridiculously deadly town makes it the win for sure.
Better yet, imagining the scene where they step out of the helicopter and begin blasting the hordes around them was great, although the avatar's clothing needs to be custom when you restart, I can't imagine a person in formal suit beating down on a zombie horde with an RPG, or is it just me?

Feels more like an update on the first game than an entirely new one. The game becomes too easy after finishing it once, especially with the option to transfer survivors to the new city.
On the whole, I enjoyed it; it just could have been so much better. It just feels to me as if it was hacked up solely to plug dead frontier.

5th ending is the Church of the Chosen Ones, so DON'T reclaim a church until you have the other 4! It's suicide en-mass!

I had to stop and just stare when I read "There was a bit of controversy over it, because Muyi Moore wanted to give zombies rights as well as people."
For people trying to get the hard badge, one bit of advice would be to play easy mode, then train people to be good at everything (maxed stats), give them the best weps you can (AFTER the stats) and then ship them off via helicopter. Just gives you a starting boost, 5 marines.

I think I found a way to get the hard badge even easier. If you win the game in a lower difficulty via constitution, you can send 5 of your citizens (no matter HOW strong they are) and start a new game. You can get 5 citizens, all level 10 in every stat, if possible, and try to take on seriously-hard. Still not that easy, but better than going in with almost nothing.

Alegsie, as much as you can, you want to keep killing off zombies in the surrounding blocks; otherwise you get overwhelmed as you saw. It's tricky, because zombie hunters going on killing missions aren't at home to defend against attacks, but it's necessary.

1 thing I do miss, though, is seeing the little zombies swarming around the buildings where there were lots of them. It was easier to tell how infested buildings were, and I felt more satisfied to clear them out.

Hey every body! we are sorounded on all sides by hordes of the undead! you know what would make this situation even better? We should all riot in the streets and get nothing done!! Hurray!!

I think this is a great game, but kinda funny. My leader level 5 walks into an all mart with a chain saw and gets two dudes to join. I wonder if he thretened them?

Seems you need 3 spare labs, for a total of 4, at least on seriously hard) to get the "cured zombieism" ending, plus letting the crazy scientist in.

the mighty mute button, lets me play other music while fighting zombies. "you have to burn the rope, you managed to beat the whole damn ga-ame."

Tip: Don't get any survivors until you have enough farms to feed them. If you have, for example, +6 food, you have enough food to feed 6 more survivors. If you reach past that, then your people are going to start losing food pretty quickly.

"Oh thank god i god rid of the zombie infestation in the AllMart now to reclaim it!" *2-3 seconds later* "Builder cannot build with the zombie horde in the AllMart!!" *after zombie horde attacks* "Now to reclaim the AllMart!" *zombie level: Infested"

There are a bunch of Tips and Tricks for this game in the second part of the strategy guide here: http://talkingship.com/wp/2011/10/22/rebuild-2-strategy-guide-part-1/

The only reason that I didn't rate this a 5 was the victory "animation" when you overrun the bikers. I think I'da preferred text.

here is a really good tip; name your city something funny so that you laugh out loud every time somebody mentions your town. (my favorite name is "the crapper")

Here is a report on the progress of my constitution drafting: "We've been arguing for days about design and laws of our new government. We narrowed down to a democracy of some kind, but Hana Boxlelter's insisting we give rights to the zombies as well as the people, and that's just crazy." this made my roflmao. Hana Boxleiter is one of my survivors btw

As far as stabilizing your group of survivors at the start, I recommend searching immediately for plenty of farms and at least one hospital. Once your food intake is higher than the number of survivors, you should start looking for a laboratory and researching every upgrade you can. Having a school to train your guys in science/leadership doesn't hurt either. Suburbs I only focus for when I'm nearing the population cap or if I need to go through one to reach a different building.

I'm glad you made the subway, because it's like another fort in the same town. So many new features and I love them all. + this if you agree.
