#52 should be Air Buster, singular, not Air Busters. And #56 should be Mega Man, not Megaman. Also, there should really be an "I give up" option for 10-15 hint points, for those questions we can't possibly know.
Also, no Lufia. Seriously, how can you have freaking Alfred Chicken but no Lufia?

Woahhh did only 9 by ear , the rest i did after seeing the screenshoot.

I have shamed my self by not knowing these games and being born in the mid 90's.
32 out of 93 is not acceptable. I have shamed my family TT__TT
Excuse me whilst i commit seppuku

Me and a couple of friends completed the answers! Now we're trying to find the gray emerald and the secret answer!!! \o/

Games should be separated by game consul & difficulty (popularity). Hints shouldn't cost points. Screenshot hints should cost 1 point. Points should regenerate much quicker.

If you're able to answer more than half of these, it's not because you were a nineties gamer, it's just because you know your gaming history. Nineties gamers NEVER owned both a Genesis and SNES. You picked a side, and went to war with the other one (except when you went to a friend's house who had the other system).

Ok, this game sucks for me. I always had the sound off on games when I played them because it annoyed me. lol I like the hints and stuff though.

They've got a power and force that you've never seen before!
They've got the ability to morph and to even up the score!
No one will ever take them down, The power lies on their Side!
Go go Power Rangers!

Wow! I usually don't like these kinds of "Guess the game!" kinds, but this one really has a lot of nice features! Plus, the fact that there were so many titles to pick from as well as some visual rewards (The sprites running across the screen ect.) was a nice touch! Really hope you make more, and perhaps in the Playstation era- So many titles to choose from!

Thank you for allowing us to listen to the clips even after correctly guessing the game. That's always been my biggest gripe about old console sound clip guessing games.

You took my love of old video games, and my love of video game music, especially old video game music, and put it into a very wondefully made flash game. Marry me.

Wow, major nostalgia trip. I'm still trying to guess many of them, I'm not nearly as good as I thought I was, only got twenty eight so far.

Way to make a female gamer feel old there, buddy! I think I cried a little when my daughter looked at the screen and said, "Oh my God, those games look like they're from cave man times or something." Still, thanks for stirring up some fond memories from my youth. I'm surprised Eternal Champions was on there because I've never met anyone who's played it, let alone remember it. That and Mortal Kombat are the only fighting games I can put up with for more than 2 seconds. I'm just curious though, how the heck do you access the "secret" questions? I dragged my cursor over every single pixel in the screen and nothing. I know you can't tell me outright because then they wouldn't be a special bonus, but maybe just a hint would be nice. Ya know, to make up for making some of us feel much older than we are, lol. Either way, awesome game!

Uh, The picture shown is WWF Royal rumble, and I know this for two reasons. One, the mat in the picture reads WWF, two, In WCW (the one it accepted) the camera view is from a corner of the ring, WWF is from a side. I even looked it up just to be sure, might want to get a new pic, or, change the trivia/hints to suit WWF :p

I think this new game-designers should learn something with old game. Who remembers games like Full Throttle, or Grim Fandango, or Escape from Monkey Island....

I'm also thrown by spaces. This kind of game desperately needs to allow multiple spellings. There have been like 4 games I've been convinced I have wrong just because of spaces, or something similar. I'm afraid I don't like the game because of this.

It's true that it is in fact "Starfox", but a lot of these give me trouble often from not putting a space or some symbol (worst was super punch(-)out) and because of that I often start to think I have the wrong game. Another one that gave me trouble was Robocop versus the Terminator, I mean, whether I type vs or versus really shouldn't matter, as knowing the game as "robocop vs the terminator" obviously shows I know what game it is. All in all though this is really great, I just wish there was more, and I hope I can find out the third secret one is ^.^. (PS: "WWF Royal Rumble" isn't working for me, am I thinking of the wrong game?)
Yeah, I agree. I tried to make it as accessible as possible, but some of the shows were easy to do that for than others (I didn't feel like I could just accept 'robocop' for RvsT, for example, but 'Mario' is accepted for Super Mario Bros). In your PS, you have the wrong game, but you're close. Right genre, different show.

Man I wish I was around for the better part of the 90's era....It would have been great to play most of these games.....Now I can only watch video's of it before most of the games of the 2000 era kinda sucked....And the bringing of call of duty super fanboys..
Most 90s games were pretty bad. We just remember the ones that were awesome. Also, without the internet to show you what other games were out there, even bad games seemed better, with nothing to compare them again.

This is pretty cool, but, I think your string confirmation needs some work, star fox should be acceptable, as should super punch out, duck tales, mega man X, super mario bros. and more. I think they should be sorted by category as well, SNES on one side, Genisis on the other. When you solve a game, it should denote it's full title above the picture. There are also some games I played of 1990s that I didn't see here, Axelay, Pocky and Rocky, Secret of Evermore, Illusion of Gaia, Battletoads, etc (Can't have EVERY game, but more=better). Nice touch on the cheat codes, secrets, unlockables, and changing backgrounds they made a boring and bland quiz game entertaining and fun (Use non-spoiler pictures though...). Lastly Thanks for the nostalgia trip, I'm difinitely going to go back and beat some of these games, like Chrono Trigger and Breath of Fire.
Thanks for the feedback :D Some of those, like Starfox, were written as one word on the title screen and game box. Super Mario Bros should be accepted though, unless you're actually on one of the other Mario questions. And there's a Battletoad sprite running around somewhere, once you unlock it :)

Simply fantastic. So many memories! I love how you can go back and listen to the tracks of games you got right and read all the trivia. The little characters running around are a really nice touch too.
