I had 273 years left... also, I know this has been said before, but the clogging of the volcano would hurt more than help. Although I really enjoyed the way it illustrates that a small change can have a big impact down the line.

if you grab an acorn and go over the volcano and plant it at the end you find a grave stone anyone know what it does?

"And the Rock man waited, in the volcano, protecting humanity from the savage land, some say he was a myth, some say he was our saviour.. Some even say he was god himself."
"That sounds like BS, Gran'pa."

You know, I tried to beat this game already. Needless to say, I encountered a roadblock that wouldn't go away. Geez...

It's too bad the guy walks a bit slow and I'm reluctant to try again, but wouldn't it be possible to plant that last chestnut, and before the tree grows go grab another to plant at the area behind the final one?

Kid sleeps like a rock. Wakes up like one, too.
Guess he's stopped the Calamity after all.
(Okay, every time I see the word "calamity," I now think about Bastion. I couldn't stop myself from making the reference.)

Here lies a traveler between worlds, whose name is unknown. May his curious soul find a way home, like you have found his resting place. :)

I don't know if it was just me but I was curious to find out what happened if you don't feed the villagers for 399 years: The outcome was... THEY ARE STILL ALIVE!

Okay, I'm at the last part of the game with the net and the chestnut. The guide says to get a chestnut and climb up the net, but no matter how long I wait the boat is in the middle of the lake, not at the opposite end of the town..What did I do wrong?

Easter egg: take a chestnut near the end of the game and instead of going inside the volcano, keep going to the right and you'll find a little goodie at the end of the path.

Great game. I just wish there was more of it: Waiting that takes advantage of technological advancement, major changes in the shape of the land, political shifts. A sequel would be fantastic.

Great Game. I did it with 173 years left. Now I need to see how fast I can do it then see what the buildings evolve to if I do it slowly.

Absolutely beautiful. Slow-paced but at the same time one of the most moving games I've ever played. This is what makes me believe that there is still hope for humanity. When people build games and stories like this, it makes me happy.

If you walk to the other side of the volcano and plant a chestnut against the cliff, you can find a grave with an epitaph

Very slow paced, but obviously that's the point. Interesting premise, but not at all challenging - I had 257 years left.
